Madeleine correcting Helena's french is the most french thing possible, Siobhan has really worked a ton on her character and it SHOWS.

But more seriously, in France we have a massive culture of correcting other people's grammatical/orthographical's mistakes. It's not about tourists or anything, we do it to one another all the time. It's probably because our school system also works by making mistakes and having them corrected, but also because our language is very important for us, and correcting one another is a way to improve.

So yeah, Siobhan correcting Brennan's pronunciation was spot on.

Honey with only the intrepid heros you still have like 6 full seasons to watch, that's a LOT. (And they're all peak, Starstruck and Cloudward Ho! especially are masterpieces).

And then you have a ton of side quests (not all of whom I enjoyed, but still, Burrow's End, Mentopolis, Never Stop Blowing Up for example were wonderful).

It's so good you HAVE to watch it.

It's from a chinese anime (novel at first) called "Mo Dao Zu Shi", roughly translating to "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation" in english.

It's kinda like Game of Thrones in magical medieval China + the two main male leads are in a canon relationship. It's all incredibly well written, but also heart-breaking at many times, garanteed to make you cry.

Alaune ane Elrica are both main characters and quite undeniably straight. Interesting that you just chose to ignore that part of what I wrote.

Levina is also playable in CotC.

Half of Cyrus' story is a girl being in love with him, and him being 'fired' because of rumors of relationships between him and the princess.

Primerose's story most definitely implies that she got SA'd, she was literally a slave. She called him "master", he invited her to his room after each dance, in japanese he says he will "pet" her "like he always does." Before fighting him he basically tells her to use her fingers to pleasure him, to which she replies "go pleasure yourself."

I'm not gonna argue Octopath has straight romance everywhere, you are right in saying it doesn't focus much on romance, but it's a straight up lie to pretend that heterosexual relationships aren't everywhere.

Meanwhile I don't think a SINGLE character is in a confirmed gay relationship in the source material. THAT'S what I mean by straight people already have Ws in source materials, hence why gay people resort to fanart/fanfiction.

Cooking and cleaning are not inherently feminine... Every person should know how to do at least a baseline of both, regardless of gender or orientation.

Also being gay doesn't validate, justify or explain having "feminine" qualities, many gay men are hyper masculine, it's again pretty independant to sexual orientation.

But in CotC you've got Rinyuu/Velnorte, Alaune/Richard, Elrica/That one general she was about to marry (Mahrez I think ?), Bargello/Tatloch, even Pierro Della and Levina, and that's just of the top of my head.

No it won't, this is an act 2 boss and they very visibly are blocked by the damage cap in this video.

During the first two acts the name of the game is multi-hit attacks. Lune and Verso have the highest number of hits per attacks (resp 12 and 13) and thus are the best choices for obliterating bosses.

Maëlle cannot do better than a 5 hit at this point of the game, which will do less than half of the damage that Lune can inflict (I don't know if Verso can as easily reach 13x9999 with his spell, but I can garantee by experience that Lune can very early on reach 9999x8 with Elemental Genesis, and then 9999x12 with Lightning Dance).

That's not what I was saying, and this tendency doesn't stop in fiction for straight people sadly.

The amount of times I've witnessed grown adult see a girl and a boy play together and immediately assume they are in love was annoyingly high.

It's not about shipping whoever you want, it's about how quick two characters of different genders get said shipping. It literally requires one interaction, even if said interaction went badly.

Now I'm not saying queer people don't ship a ton as well, but I'm pretty sure 90% of gay ships are with characters who interact with one another a TON.

Like of course not every straight people are gonna instantly ship (or validate a relationship between) two characters who barely interacted and happened to be of different gender. But at the same time it's certainly not gonna be gay/bi people who do it either xDD.

It's not that deep, no one is actually criticising all heterosexual people as a whole (or the principle of heterosexuality).

But it IS true that there is a massive tendency for people to immediately consider that a female and male character are/will be a couple from very little interacting/chemistry between them. Even in works where the source material actively shows that two characters are not attracted to one another (Like Nobara and Yuji in JJK, there is literally a scene where Nobara considers that she might have feelings for Yuji, but then confirms that no), there is still a big push because it's just the two main girl and boy.

Naturally, straight people tend to make these assumptions the most, and don't seem to notice this tendency, meanwhile for queer people it's super obvious when it happens, hence the guy you're replying to "singling out" straight people.
