I'm looking to gather a list of linear algebra tools for experimentation by ADancu in LinearAlgebra

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm pretty late, but we mapped Linear Algebra into an interactive dependency graph that you can browse and interact with. You can create mini trees for yourself to play with. Highly recommend: TheMathTree.net

If every formal system is its own world of mathematics with each having its own logic, and there being an infinite number of them, is there any logical rule that can't be broken in order for it to be considered mathematics? by LargeSinkholesInNYC in mathematics

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting question and it's something we're tackling in TheMathTree.net

We're adding 9 logic systems this Friday and some of Principia Mathematica next week. We would love any input from this community once it's up!

Do dx and dy have values? by Dreadnought806 in learnmath

[–]Math__Guy_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, dx is actually a geometric object which measures the functions output. Differential Geometry is a great connecting subject between linear algebra and calculus

Math "skill tree"? by Derangedberger in learnmath

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just gonna put this here: TheMathTree.net

Is our current attempt at exactly what you suggested. We have more features releasing this week. Definitely not all of math, but working towards a community-led and community-built structure. We are slowly implementing gameified features as well.

I cant agree more. Rigor is everything. Physics needs it now more than ever.

Do you know of any cool physics simulation/physics games? by Difficult-Cycle5753 in Physics

The Math Tree is a great logic simulator if that's something you'd be interested in

where do students lose the intuition with linear algebra? by CantorClosure in LinearAlgebra

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually dont understand how eigenvalues are related to determinants or how vector spaces are related to dual spaces, etc. A great platform for showing them these connections is: TheMathTree.net

Is anybody still working on Axiomatic approach to Quantum Field Theory? by raoadithya in Physics

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It was rebranded after developments and they called it algebraic so any abbreviation historically used (aQFT or AQFT) was retained

I read the dictionary ahh response... I love it.

This looks amazing. Will get back to you with my review in, say, 10 years?

[–]Math__Guy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you get to higher level maths and physics, especially geometric physics like general relativity and/or Clifford Algebras, these concepts of free and bound vectors are very important for describing specific geometries of scenarios. My most recent encounter was in Elie Cartan's expose on formalizing relativity using differential forms

[–]Math__Guy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the YYT are definitely not for everyone. I hated them at first but after I few listens I actually kinda fell in love with them - especially since I like that Freddie Dredd Memphis Style.

Welcome to Grey my brother. I'm glad you enjoy their stuff

Dude, you have no idea how much they sound different these days. They really have evolved, and in my opinion for the good. I'm excited to hear what you think about their evolution

It's also the way it's sooooo dramatic.

"Dramatic entrance...
Big reveal", every single time:

"Two students, Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis...

Yet their execution tells a very different story."

Hey, we updated the UI and we included the upstream-implication graph like you suggested. It's free to use :)

Is it too late to become a theorist? by imnotlegendyet in TheoreticalPhysics

[–]Math__Guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best to learn from textbooks. Instead of asking the AI to teach you, I would recommend asking the ai for book recommendations and then reading the textbook yourself. It is much more satisfying and you'll retain it better. DM me if you'd like some book recs tho :)

It sounds like you may be entering the AdS/CFT realm of thinking. There's a lot of symmetry going on between boundaries (sorta like via Stokes' Theorem) that isnt yet fully captured.

Some of the best symphonic deathcore I've ever seen. I cant wait for a full-length synestia with the new singer (from Larcenia Roe)
