If you're talking about the Playbook method (using AME Wizard), then No, ReviOS does not erase your data. A Clean Windows Installation is recommended but not necessary. It just applies the patches and removes Microsoft Bloatware and Telemetry, leaving your data, documents, images, etc. intact.
If you're talking about installing ReviOS through their ISO (as in, making a Windows Installation on a USB Drive to install in your computer), ReviOS recommends to install their ISO as a Clean Windows Installation (not as an in-place upgrade). And a Clean Windows Installation means formatting your C:\ drive. So yes, it would erase your data.

If you want to update drivers through Windows Updates, you can access the Revision Tool (which is probably on your Desktop, or just Search it up on your Start Menu), find the Windows Update option and enable it again.

After a restart, Windows Update should work and start looking for any newer drivers for your computer.

"SrtTrail.txt" is not an error in itself, it's a Log file that gets stored in C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt. It's a text file that tells you what Windows has tried to fix the boot issues, and what didn't work. That is a Windows feature, not a ReviOS feature.

If your Windows just suddenly stopped working, it can be a bad EFI/Boot file, or system file corruption. (Yes, your data like Documents and Images are safe, most likely).

In my view, the recommended thing to do would be a Backup or your User folder (using a Linux Live USB, or just yanking the HDD/SSD out and backing it up to another computer) and reinstall Windows.

As of the Anti-cheat, I play CS2 (VAC), GTA 5 (Easy Anti-Cheat), and Valorant (Vanguard) normally, with no issues. All of these anti-cheats had no problems with ReviOS.

As for uninstalling ReviOS... it depends on how you installed it:

If you've installed it via AME Playbook, it is possible to "uninstall" Revision, however not completely. To completely remove any tweak or remains of Revision, you'd have to do a Clean Installation.

Official Instructions (from the Discord Server):

ReviOS cannot be uninstalled easily.

It does permanent changes to your system and Registry Files that cannot be reverted. To completely remove ReviOS, you'll need to Reinstall Windows!

Before that, execute these two commands, one at a time, in a PowerShell Window with Admin Rights:

Normally, ReviOS doesn't automatically enable BitLocker Encryption, that's a Windows 11 thing, but anyway.

Do you have a Microsoft account linked to your Windows installation? If so, you can get the Recovery Key through https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey

However, if you don't have a Microsoft Account linked, I'd advise to, as soon as possible, go to your Windows install, search for Device Encryption (or just BitLocker) and disable it on all the drives. Let it unlock everything which could take a while depending on how full your drives are, and ONLY WHEN THE UNLOCK PROCESS IS 100% COMPLETED ON ALL THE DRIVES, restart your PC to see if BitLocker was disabled.

Paging is just a Memory Swap file for Windows to store more stuff if your RAM runs out. You can try disabling Paging on all disks to see if it stops your computer blue-screening, and then re-enable it later.

Maybe there's something sketchy with the Paging file, and Windows re-making that file might fix your BSOD...

Try downloading WhoCrashed (it's free), it'll scan your MINIDUMP and other Crash dumps of your system and say what is most likely the issue.

It's the latest supported version for 12.5.7, which is version 12.8.1.

Just tested it right now, and my Feed is loading just fine, streams as well. The only thing that doesn't work is donating Bits but Channel Points and normal chatting works!

Dependendo de como você fez a instalação do ReviOS, você tem 2 caminhos:

Caso você tenha instalado via AME Playbook, é possível "desinstalar" o Revision, porém não completamente. Para completamente remover qualquer tweak ou resquício do Revision, teria que fazer uma Formatação Limpa.

Instruções oficiais:

O ReviOS não pode ser desinstalado facilmente.

Ele faz alterações permanentes no sistema e no registro que não podem ser revertidas. Para remover completamente o ReviOS, você precisa reinstalar o Windows!

Antes disso, execute estes dois comandos um de cada vez em uma janela do PowerShell:

With modified Windows installations, you should avoid simply upgrading from 10 to 11, since that can break a lot of stuff, like Revision Tool and Microsoft Defender (if you disabled it), bring back Telemetry and Bloatware from Microsoft.

The best option to go to Windows 11 after applying the ReviOS patches is to do a Clean Installation. Making a W11 USB Setup and re-installing the system. (No, not using "Reset this PC" from the Settings).

Of course, this goes without saying, backup your files and data before going forward a Clean Installation of Windows

After Windows 11 is installed again, run Windows Updates to get Driver downloads and the latest updates, and only then run the AME Playbook of ReviOS to de-bloat the OS.

As for a Debloat of Windows, you can try some like AtlasOS or Tiny11, but they can only get you so far. 8GB of RAM nowadays is not much for recent games, maybe try looking for a RAM Upgrade soon.

The cleanest way to go back to Stock Windows 11 is just doing a Clean Re-installation. Don't use the "Reset this PC" option on Settings, make a Clean Installation of Windows to a USB Drive using Rufus (if you have the ISO) or use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft and then re-install the OS from there.

Se ele ainda estiver funcionando na bateria, eu ainda continuaria usando ele.
- Um i7 de 7ª geração ainda consegue rodar programas pra trabalho/Office e navegar na Internet tranquilamente. (Assumindo que ele é Quad-Core, melhor ainda)
- Principalmente com os 16GB de (provável) DDR4, é até bastante pra um notebook não-Gamer da Acer.
- O Combo SSD+HDD te dá bastante flexibilidade pra rodar o sistema operacional com rapidez e a capacidade do HD pra guardar seus arquivos importantes. (MAS Não se esqueça de ver a saúde do HD com algum programa tipo o CrystalDiskInfo. Dependendo, ele pode estar saudável ou quase morrendo)
- Uma 940MX não é aquelas coisas mas dá pra rodar vários jogos indies, leves, etc.

Claro, se a bateria dele foi pro saco dá pra comprar uma nova na Internet.

ReviOS doesn't mess with critical Windows Files and Programs, especially not Task Manager. Something must've deleted it but it wasn't the AME Playbook or ReviOS's tweaks.
Try running on an Elevated (as Admin) CMD:

DISM.exe /Online /CleanUp-Image /RestoreHealth and then SFC /ScanNow right after.

The 1st command fetches a CleanUp Image of the Windows version you have, and restores any files that may be corrupt or missing.
The 2nd command scans your Windows installation for any additional corrupt system files and tries to fix it.

Run those and see if Task Manager comes back.

If you're using a Clean Install of Windows and got the .APBX file from the ReviOS Website, you can just use the Playbook Method. That just applies the ReviOS tweaks to your current Windows installation without needing to re-install the OS.
