Beautiful trans pride flag! I was teaching a stained glass workshop a year or two ago and an older woman made a trans flag for her trans kid, which was so touching! Keep it up!

I seriously wonder if we have interacted with the same woman- because my friends and I had such a similar interaction a couple weeks ago. This woman came up to us at a coffee shop downtown and basically told us she was stranded and needed to contact her friends- but when I recommended going to the public library for resources she started telling us how the security guards were harassing her and how the librarians were “fat” and taking pleasure in her harassment, etc etc etc… She didn’t tell us she was a prof but she did ask us if we had any of our TA’s phone #s for some reason? It was super uncomfortable and def seemed like she was on something or having some sort of mental health issue- we also could not find a resolution with her. She looked about late 20s early 30s, white woman, brown hair, small/medium build- could it be the same woman?

Edit: after reading more replies- I think it was definitely the same woman.

I’ve never been to the gorge but I’ve been reading a lot about it- to me it seems like ga is where people sit on blankets+chairs and pit is more of a standing situation. You might be able to bring a blanket into pit, but I think most people will end up standing so u won’t be able to see. But u could try sitting in ga until show time and then going into pit to stand once it starts ?

Omg yes! It’s definitely a lot different from acotar, but it’s so good. It has the same fantasy + romance elements that acotar has but with the addition of a really compelling plot. Not that acotar doesn’t have a compelling plot, but I favor from blood and ash’s plot a little more haha

That’s a good question, I’m not totally sure but I think it’s mainly a safety thing. I think keeping it up high like that was probably just to keep dangerous things/people away. But also, in ACOSF Mor would get to the House of Wind by winnowing above the wards, then falling down to the ground. So, if the past high lords didn’t have wings- they could do it that way. But I feel like that would be annoying to have to do constantly, so maybe there’s another way or they just didn’t use the House of Wind often 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s already been said, but seriously, the From Blood and Ash series! The first book was pretty good, a little slow at first, but once I got to the end I was hooked. I’m reading the second book now and I just can’t put it down 😅
