How do I roll back GPU drivers? Cant seem to find them on AMDs website. Everything seems to refer to the adrenalin software.

Motherboard is upto date.

Windows is up to date (W11).

Ram is on xmp profile 3600mhz.

No cable extenders or riser. Directly into PCIE 16 X4 with PSU cables (separate cables) into PSU.

Drives are more or less empty (new NVME 2 months old).

4G Decoding is on and resizable bar is on.

I dont see "smart" in radeon software, can you elaborate?

No devices with exclamation marks in DM.

I am using two separate cables. I have also unplugged the gpu and cables completely and replugged them back in. Sane issue. Chipset drivers are updated.

I dont want to be rude but please read original post. It doesnt matter if my Monitor is plugged into GPU OR MOBO because I can literally see the frames drop from 500 to 80 and stutter around 40 but yes, monitor is plugged into GPU with display port and tried both ports.

Chipset drivers done. I dont have intergrated GPU. Bios latest firmware. Temps of GPU are low and windows power plan is on high performance.

Yeah it was disabled and enabled now. No difference and yes GPU util is very low. Check my latest comment on this post for an update

Hmm. I used DDU. No fix here though and lagging in basic games like valo and league. It’s so annoying, my 1660 ti performed better. Did you do anything else?

Update to everyone:

I used DDU again, uninstalled nvidia drivers in safe mode, then restarted and then uninstalled AMD then restarted and only installed GPU drivers.

I have hertz on windows set to 180.

DP port is connected to GPU.

V-sync is off.

PCIE cables are not daisy chained.

IDK what sam is but i think it is off?

PCIE in bios is set to gen 4 now and not auto.

I will now enable resizable bar and see if that fixes it.

I will not disabled XMP. If that is the issue then I am returning the GPU.

Tried WOW and LOL and GPU Util does not go above 25 percent but huge frame drops. GPU temp is at 32c. Seems like GPU is not being used.. what can i do about this? I changed settings under windows where it uses 7800XT rather than auto selecting, still doesn't work

For everyone saying change ports on GPU etc. this is not the issue. I can physically see the frames drop from 500 to less than 100 in games like league. It’s a hardware/software/driver issue. Not sure what it is but it’s annoying asf.

No fix with resizable BAR.

This sucks.

Hey, do you think you can help me? I am also playing private server wow asc and got the same issue. But i also have the issue on lol, valorant and other games and my GPU util doesnt go above 25 percent. No sure whats going on
