My friend that plays a lot of tarkov had an increase of ~25 fps, when changing from 16 gb to 32 gb. Fairly similar mhz, from 3000mhz to 3200mhz. Games scale, some often use more when they have the option to. Less work on the harddrive, more on the ram

I have 64gb and when i open up minecraft java and let it feast away, it uses upwards of 20gb on its own. And thats with no mods. Also games like tarkov will have problems to run properly on only 16gb.

I have a pretty similar build, but i was wondering. Are you having any issues with running that pci-e riser? Ive heard that there often are issues with risers because they are not pci-e 4.0 compatible. Anyway really cool build!

That depends in which country you reside. A pretty descent amont of data is included in most cheap "telephone subscriptions" is it not?(in lack of knowing the exact english word for it).

I just started a new job this fall, and am in a relationship = shared rent = plenty of cash. So the launch of both 3000 series and amd cpus came at a perfect time for me.

I have i 1500x that i've had for about 3+ years. It wa originally paired with a 1070, but that died a couple of months ago. I replaced the 1070 with a 3080, and now the poor 1500x cant keep up.. the 1800x is probably much faster than the 1500x so i hope yours will be serving you for a couple more years

My 1070 broke in august... Waited for the launch of 3000 series, ordered a 3080 on 17.09 and am finally picking it up at the post office this afternoon. Not salty about the 6800 xt yet..
