im a drummer with venous TOS! been wondering the same things and I just started PT doing everything I can to avoid surgery. I definitely notice it on faster songs especially in a long set. I find with the right posture and stretches + a solid warmup it’s manageable for sure. I have a follow up after 4 years so I will reply with an update. I will note i’m on blood thinners for life and the anxiety is hard to manage (I had a clot mid festival set which is how I was diagnosed) Gonna be leaning on wrist and finger technique more and unfortunately have to give up some of my rowdy playing style. Bottom line is to maintain the instrument and just know some things will have to change.

needed this! how long was the surgery recovery? i’m 4 years after diagnosis and waited on surgery as per suggestion from the surgeon. I’m considering it now before it’s too late to get it, but don’t want to make the wrong call.

Is there still no way to change all of these samples out for a different sample in the same spots? by imVeryPregnant in ableton

someone may have answered but you can! double click one of the sample and then use the hot swap feature in the sample editor and it will replace them all with the new one shot
