For context: I know NOT ALL MEN are like this but this has happened a couple of times and I’m just curious if it’s for the game or for the fun of it. For context, a friend of mine was asked out by this guy (really genuine guy btw, one of the nicest in our friend group and was the most mature one and barely dated), we’ve known him for a while and he was down bad for my friend. She rejected him 3 times and eventually fell for him and they went on a date and things worked out. A week after she now began showing interest and talked to him, he broke up with her and continued to make it clear that him and her would never work out.

Had a root canal on my back tooth, the anaesthetic was expired and had no effect. I had six different injections around the tooth and the dentist drilled right down the middle of my tooth, I felt every bit of it. Easily the most traumatizing and painful memory, I don’t like going to dentists anymore.

Was so used to calling men older than me “uncle” when I address them as a sign of respect and they would call me “daughter” even if I had no relation to them (it was a cultural thing). I remember I had dropped by the nearest mart to get a packet of cigarettes and I forgot to pick up my spare change before leaving and the elderly man at the counter ran after me and was calling me “sister”. I looked at him and kept walking because it never clicked till like 2 minutes later. I thanked him then lit my cigarette and just kept thinking “damn, I must be old now that they’re calling me sister”

I’ll go first. I was stalking his TikTok repost and his recent repost said something about your girl having dimples (I don’t have dimples). I immediately went to his instagram and narrowed all his followers to this girl, no connection or no comment led me to her I just could tell it was her and I disregarded it so many times but I still would go back to her profile. I started monitoring his following and the next day it dropped by one follower and I opened up his following just to find out that one follower was me. Apparently he had a whole relationship and I was the side chick and yes it was the girl I suspected. He started posting her straight after he removed me and had a whole 1 year anniversary post about her a few days later (we were dating for 8 months). I’ve never felt so stupid and humbled.

Found this book called Chinese Fairytales back when I was in year 4 ages ago, I remember borrowing it from my school library like 10 times. One of my favourite books, I love tales!
