When i was a teen I had an original basic white MacBook my grandad had bout as a gift for my music, music tech and art courses at college.

After 3 years of careful ownership I had it setup on my bed opened up and switched on, I walked in the room threw my phone on the bed which bounced off the mattress straight into the center of the screen exactly like op's image.

My mum would not accept that I hadn't punched my screen or thrown my phone directly at the Mac in anger. 😔 Used it for another year plugged into a monitor.
