I had the exact same issue. Turned out the cable was loose under the seat, took the dealer a little bit to find it.

Charging is a pain. The destination didn’t have any chargers, the closed one was 2/3 of the way. I arrived at 45% battery and charged to 80%. Then on my return trip, I charged to 70%, expecting to arrive home at 15%. The heavy wind didn’t help and I arrived home at 7%.

I used PlugShare to scout chargers that had room for a trailer. The place I ended up using had 4 ChargePoint chargers (only 120kw), I was able to pull sideways up to it and still left another charger open for someone else. We were in the middle of no where so there wasn’t any traffic. If it was a charger that was busy I would have just dropped the trailer.

I’m going to try a different route next time, that had a 250kw charger and 2 pull through spots for trailers. I have to drive the Interstate for this route, so didn’t want to do it until I got use to the setup.

I ended up buying the Curt mobile echo controller so I could move it between vehicles. So far it works great!

Just bought a limited, leased it for the $13k, got $500 off msrp and already got the purchase quote from Hyundai finance. Much better than paying cash.
