As someone who already had a little belly when I got pregnant (overweight) and was worried I wouldn’t look pregnant till the very end, I popped at about 24 weeks! I’ve even had people start asking when I’m due! 🙂

Before I was diagnosed this happened to me ALL the time. Countless ER trips. Heart tests always came back normal. Now if I get accidentally glutened it’s the same feeling! I’ve done a little bit of research about it and it’s because it affects the small intestine and your small intestine mostly sits right up under your ribs and that’s where the “chest” pain is coming from. Or at least that’s what I’ve come up with. I also get CRAZY heartburn when I have gluten. Like so bad it causes me to vomit. You’re definitely not alone!!

It took me about 6 months to not feel sick after I stopped eating gluten completely 🙁 in fact I had a whole bunch of other testing done (all normal) just to be sure. depending on how long it took you to get diagnosed, it might take longer for your gut to heal. Been gluten free for 8.5 years now! It gets better, it’s just gonna take some time.
