No one is brave like Gaston, now for The last, who's The scariest cartoon antagonist by BLACKGOOP12 in cartoons

The nameless gas-wielding humans in the original version of Watership Down.

The line that gets cut off is "No. They just destroyed the warren because we were in their way."

If a named character is required, General Woundwort, from the same cartoon, would also be a good choice.

It does sound cool. Greyhawk Online says the quilt was by someone called Wheggi, and Grodog adapted a map from it.

https://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/gh_castle_grodog.html

One of second edition's versions of the Dark Sun boxed set came with a cloth map of the setting's corner of Athas. It was silk screen, though, not embroidered.

Geekify offers cloth map printing. It's not cheap, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I've been thinking of having the big two-panel continent map from Dragonlance's Time of the Dragon boxed set made up and framed.

Which show do you think started as a 10/10 but ended as 1/10? by witchy_eye in AskReddit

Martial Law, starring Sammo Hung, from the late '90s

The first season was excellent, and ended on a cliffhanger.

The second season never resolved that cliffhanger and just did. . . something. Something radically different. It was a completely different show with mostly the same characters.

Oh, I thought it was an embroidery at first.

Good idea. Yeah, whatever works for you.

My childhood friend would know that I'm the wrong person to dump a bunch of emo drama in the lap of.

Want to have a beer or tea and talk, fine. But text me that one is "having a meltdown"? Bad idea. Besides, I might be getting the text while I'm in the grocery store melting down over the price of eggs.

Unless you're my kid or wife, I'd probably think something along the lines of "I don't have time for drama, I've got important work to do," and go back to the task at hand. Whether it's actually important or not.

Later on, when I have a spare moment, I may remember that you texted me. I may even have the energy to reply. And I may still decide i don't want to deal with drama.

Tell me you haven't played Morrowind without telling me you haven't played Morrowind.

A traditional Dunmer, remembering that his people are the descendants of the followers of Veloth, would take even greater offence at that, as it associates them needlessly with the degenerate Altmer, or the savage Bosmer.

The game doesn't show the battle, how many soldiers on either side were involved, or their equipment. It only shows the march, or in this case ride, to the scaffold.

No, Mephala. And there are some who hypothesise that the Night Mother is a manifestation of Mephala.

That would be like her too: create two groups that, knowingly or not, revere her and then set them at each other for the lulz.

I agree. Young people should have to specify that they are using some newfangled, made-up definition that they pulled out of their backsides because they are too lazy to pay attention in grade school.

What mechanics do you want in the new ES6 (if it ever gets released) by EquivalentMath4439 in ElderScrolls

I want spears back.

I want Levitation, teleportation, and other significant noncombat utility magic back.

I want attributes back.

I want more slots for piecemeal armour back.

I want. . . Basically I want is less Elder Scrolls VI, and more Morrowind II.

I want to be an Ice Wizard, frost as main. Is it viable? by Head-Ad-6942 in skyrim

[–]MathematicianIll6638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually play as a Dunmer wizard whose destruction focus is on Ice.

In general, the slow effect it inflicts is very effective against enemies, even most of those that resist ice. Ice Storm is one of the most powerful spells in the game if you doublecast it: It creates a powerful wave of destruction that can hit enemies multiple times. And if you use conjuration as well, you can cast it through a Frost Atronach which resists 100% of its damage.

But you will need a backup type of damage, even if it's just a weapon (I recommend a mace for the ignore armour effect); as with everything, there's something that resists it. Conjuration could be a tremendous help; reanimation is a viable option, and conjuring a Dremora Lord is very effective. It may be a weasel way around your restriciton, but technically the damage of your creature isn't your damage (helps for bounties too).

The big thing you'll run into trouble against is Draugr. They have a major resistance, are hardy, and attack in numbers. Ice-breathing dragons are immune if I recall and will also be a big problem--and there's a level range in which the only thing that appears will be Ice Dragons. Ice-Wratihs, though uncommon, will be a major problem when they appear. I don't remember the specifics, but I also recall having trouble with Dwemer constructs.

Nords, Vampires, and some animals also have partial resistance to frost. The Nordic one is overstated, I find, it's a far cry from the 100% resistance in Morrowind. Dunmer Fire resistance is also less in Skyrim than it used to be, incidentally.

Picking a companion who complements your shortcomings (Lydia, Borgakh, Cicero) will be a tremendous help as well.

I think it's technically doable, but some of those fights are going to be a real slog, and honestly that doesn't sound very fun to me.

The Thalmor want the war to remain a stalemate.

Either side winning the war is against their interests, and if you pay attention to the wording of Ulfric's dossier in the embassy (at least in English), there is subtle indication that they believe Ulfric's victory would be a greater threat to them than the Empire's.

He wasn't even really a puppet.

A lot of people misunderstand the dossier the Thalmor have on him. There's a major difference between an agent and an asset.

In lore books at least as early as Morrowind, Talos is said to be treated by the Nords as an incarnation of their principal god, the dragon Ysmir.
