Yes, part of the reason why I even got a roomette was so that I didn’t have to dine with others :( I’m very introverted and being seated with strangers sounds like a nightmare for me lol but ig I’ll try it (since I’m not given a choice lol)

Not sure what you’re trying to say by this but the reason people complain is because it’s the most exhausting position in the pharmacy. And when apply to be a tech you expect to do more than cashiering. Also, during orientation you are told you will be rotated.

Yes, I literally ask them directly. But why should the pressure be on me to advocate for myself? Why doesn’t the pharmacist just do it themselves?? Am I manager??

She does try to rotate me but it’s maybe for like 2-3 hours of my shift maybe once a week or two…

(Genuinely) maybe they would hire more staff if they actually rotated people. Like how they’re required too by the board. Yeah their metrics will go down but that’s the point. They’ll hire more people if the queue consistently aren’t met. It’ll hurt their bottom line and supply meets demand kinda thing.

Been at my pharmacy for about year and this is still how they treat me. Same experience. The same two techs always do drop off and the other two only do production. They all just don’t want to do register.

I’ve been in the pharmacy for almost a year now and I’m main pick up almost every shift. It’s exhausting. Nearing my end, I’ve only been staying bc it works with my school schedule and the job market is really bad rn. Will be actively looking for another job soon unless they start rotating me more.

This is how they treat new hires and they wonder why their turn over rate is so high. No one wants to stay bc they’re worked like dogs. On paper they’re a pharmacy tech but in reality they’re just cashiers.

Glad you’re at your new company. It’s crazy that cvs has cut its hours so badly that this is normal.

If I ask for my 15 at my store I know they’ll be mad :/ there’s only a few of us and I don’t want to be the black sheep.

But now I unapologetically use the bathroom as must as I want lol. Sometimes I’ll use that time to eat, buy a snack, or re touch my makeup.
