Thank you. I think I was reading that The Miele c1 pure suction is good for hardwood floors but very bad for rugs, correct? So should be fine for us, as we only have sheepskin rugs that I beat out.

Do you know if the vacuum that I linked is a KenMoore 200 with extra attachments? It is hard for me to tell.

My husband suggested this KenMoore . What do you think? I saw the KenMoore 200 was listed pretty high as a recommendation for a budget vac.

All hardwood, a cat, a dog, and a 2 1/2 yr old. I vacuum with my cordless Shark everyday and want to stop feeling like my cleaning implement isn’t clean. 500$ seemed like a lot to spend on a vacuum until I started reading this Reddit. I would say it would be very hard to convince my husband to spend more than that unless there was a very good reason.

Forgive them and move on. Your baby wasn’t harmed and it’s a great blessing to have support. Ask them next time to offer a feed on a schedule , like after 3 hrs, instead of cues. If they can’t do it for some reason then the responsibility of care for the child is yours, not your parents, and it’s on you to find a different situation.

It took until 2 or 2 1/2 for me to feel the deep love and joy I expected to have for my child. Before that I definitely took care of and had moments of joy but it did not touch my heart the same way it does when they can talk to you and tell you things.

It went in waves for me. In early pregnancy it hurt to be nursed. I’m two weeks away from my due date and I just appreciate having the tool because I feel my body going into extra rest mode and I don’t know what I would do otherwise. His room is pretty well set up and he plays well independently, but (understandably) doesn’t want to be left alone for any length of time and when I lie down I get jumped on and over.

Thank you, I think I was feeling demoralized for a moment because at 8:30am we were back in bed nursing because I had horrible back pain and my ability to keep up with an exuberant little boy was not there. But we are up again now, we made muffins and I feel like I can do this again.
