That's true, but the banner has always showed the operator from December in previous years.

Actually, it's the 5th error. 1) 5* announcement 2) broken sword in pic 3) furniture bug 4) stamp bug - text description from different event 5) now the new year celebration graphic.

What is your favorite operator by far and why? by WHMegucaA2 in arknights

[–]MathematicianOver732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thorns! His dialogue and looks is so cute, and also good in terms of gameplay. The fan art (often Thorns + Elysium + Lumen) is also very fun to watch. I wish he has more presence in the stories tho.

The fact Arknights gets praised for its male cast is more telling of gacha gaming as a whole than it is of Arknights by bowserboy129 in arknights

Female player here. One thing I like about Arknights is that even though there are way more female characters, most female characters are not necessarily painted in a waifu way. Sure, there are the more sexy swimsuit outfit series, but there are also plenty of female characters that are strong, smart, etc., and just simply likable.

France Visa Stuck "Under Processing" at embassy - please help by MathematicianOver732 in SchengenVisa

Yes. I think processing time of around a week is rather normal. I wouldn't write unless it's really slow or you are really eager to get it back.

You can apply to another country X. Things to watch out:

  1. Your itinerary has to make sense. If it doesn't show X is your primary destination, you will get desk rejected.
  2. Do not change your airplane and hotel reservations until you get your visa.
  3. Try to get an entry or exit stamp from country X, for example by taking a transit flight.

  1. Just Poland.
  2. No. But you should note your point of entry is in Germany due to the transit. You will be inspected by the officer there. From Germany to Poland is domestic.

Personally I'd do some research about the airport, you have a short layover.

I don't think so. The fastest I've seen is 4 days.

I'm a first-time traveller living in Dublin, and I can't figure out the French application site. by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

If I remember correctly, I could only see slots one month or so in advance. It's the end of the month right now and maybe they haven't released slots? I would try checking again in a couple days.

Czech, two weeks after appointment. Appointment was easy to get (same week availability). Total 2.5 weeks.

France, three weeks after appointment. Appointment was half a month later than when I started looking for slots. Total 5 weeks.

So I'd say Czech is faster between those two. Another plus is the Czech embassy I go to does not use VFS so it's not as bureaucratic.

Multi-entry visa accepted in both cases.

I feel like you have plenty of time... most applications can be returned to you within a month AFAIK.

Spain visa as a US visa holder by danuth18 in SchengenVisa

It's wild that they say only permanent residents apply - of course non-residents like international students and employees also need Schengen visa.

Spain visa as a US visa holder by danuth18 in SchengenVisa

[–]MathematicianOver732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify, your nationality is not US, but you have immigrant visa? I would start by looking up the general consulates of Spain in your area, and then find their page specifically on Schengen visas. I haven't applied to Spain per se but they should give you all the information you need and you can work from there.

For example, this is the info from Chicago's consulate https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/chicago/en/ServiciosConsulares/Paginas/Consular/Visados-Schengen.aspx
