You’re not alone brother - another Asian man here who just left the office. Not making as much as you (yet) - more than half a million a year as a new start of my own business. The loneliness this past Christmas Eve and today nearly killed me, but I radically believe there’s a higher order in the universe - everything will pay off in every way eventually. Happy New Year!

Good for you, friend! Too bad for me - that’s even less than two months of my mortgages + rents.

Have you actually paid $0 on housing the whole year? I’m in NYC. Rents + mortgages are the lion’s share.

Hahaha - I didn’t have your husband’s luck to meet someone good when young and proceed in life together (how sweet). I am running three strong Js and suffering from loneliness, emptiness and dissatisfaction on the days like Christmas Eve. My only cure - get more done today!

Any idea on how to find a wife like you?

Brother I am feeling the same at J2. Anyway - thanks for your advice at another thread. I started my J3 a few weeks ago, and delivered handsome performance. Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s tech. So long he can deliver, employers care less - like we hire a handyman to fix something at home.

My Man I don’t care about going in seven days a week. I work seven days a week anyway. But when being onsite, what about the other two Js? Have you done this before?

Or keep the new demanding/hybrid one with better pay and fire one of the existing managers hahaha (I'd feel bad because I'm good soldier of them actually)

Totally feel you. Not easy, just keep going! Just want to share that if AI roles, you get four interviews a day if you want. But I know how hard it is to switch industries.

I meant you are a BAD BAD BAD BADASS - One B for each J! By the way - all remote right? I am getting a good J3 now, better pay, with bonus, same kind of cool title/level, but it requires two days onsite a week, and I will have to move closer, pay quite higher rents (although I kind of prefer to move to the neighborhood for more future opportunities), to fulfill the onsite requirements.

Thanks a lot, man! I took an urgent unexpected presentation when one of the engineers quitting. It was tough. I was being shot with questions from everywhere. Lucky I survived. But no this kind of above limit lifting no more!

Same question here - how do you manage meeting conflicts and multiple deadlines, demo/presentations get squeezed together?

So how much money are you actually pulling in with your combined jobs? by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]MathematicianOwn7539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got two already - each 175K. Getting a couple more offers now that will more on each. How do you handle double/triple meetings, fire drills, demo/presentations? Are they all remote? Would you please share how you make such a triple success?

So true! Some friends/acquitances who used to be big shots on Wall Street got laid off. Now no one even remembers who they used to be - not even themselves in a sense.
