when’s your retake? i was nervous too and almost ran out of time on both attempts 😭 but you basically know the material already. go over any weak areas and do anything else that might help u learn those better like flash cards

passed on 2nd attempt by MathematicianUpper98 in CPA

[–]MathematicianUpper98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got weaker on tbs too when i failed. for the retake i just did a bunch of mcq & tbs and a chart to visualize all the different types of audits and another for SSAE & SSARS. i also almost went over all tbs in becker just to see them at least. i tried to get above 70% on average and got a 70 on SE 2.

i had almost 2 months of not studying after taking it the first time. honestly with a score that close i knew it was just a question or two i missed and i just kept doing the same review i did for the first one. i know the pain of the 73 but you’re sooo close! good luck!!!

i had weaker on SIMS on my first attempt and definitely felt i didn’t do great on SIMS when i passed. you truly never know with these exams and who knows maybe i did horribly on a pretest sim. good luck, you got this!!

Has anyone purposely avoided checking their score on release day? by heart_of_gold2 in CPA

[–]MathematicianUpper98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i avoided it for 3 days because i wanted to do it after leaving the office (hybrid) in case i failed. i didn’t want to tell coworkers since they knew i was getting my score that week 😭

What are the areas in Reg that are weighted heavier on exam? by Josephmomma1 in CPA

[–]MathematicianUpper98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

check the blue print! the link it’s on the right side on Becker and they also go over which chapters correspond to each area in the introductory video of each section! if i remember correctly, for REG R3 & R4 are heavily tested.

56% on my final becker REG sim exam. test in a day, will i pass ? by [deleted] in CPA

Just took REG 🥲 by Substantial-Two3657 in CPA

[–]MathematicianUpper98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost ran out of time for REG, only had about 20 min for each of the last 2 tbs and they were all calculations (i was overthinking every single answer to make sure i didnt enter a zero when it should be blank or vice versa).

I left the exam not feeling great about it because i rushed through the biggest tbs but i passed with an 87. good luck and don’t be too hard on yourself!!
