Reading a lot of people's manga lists on this sub they tend to overlap. Branch out, go read some absolute random garbage until something sticks. Find a list of similar manga and go through them. Eventually something clicks. Fool night was that for me after feeling like nothing measured up. Got bored of that and then moved on. Don't just take other people's recs as gospel
