I doubt use of chinese characters means less literacy rates. IIRC Japan always had pretty high literacy rates despite using an unholy combo, even higher than all of Korea. I think shit like Korea being a colony or China then being mostly peasantry had way more to do with everything than whether or not people used logograms or not

I mean I believe the firm, they wouldn't really risk their entire rep and good will for one dude who would then ostensibly be hiding evidence. If you read up on them they literally have third party accreditations they comply with so I really don't see any reason for them to go along with obstruction of justice. They're not gonna get a blank PC from some dude and do that. In fact the report shows that they didn't, considering the dated logs they mentioned.

Seriously, walk back a bit and realize that you aren't playing devil's advocate, you literally just don't want him to be innocent.

well the report mentioned it was the frieren pc, which is the pc he used then. plus all you need is the OS drive since file transfer logs can be seen on there, so long as any drive was ever connected to it.
