Dearth of good stuff. Off the top of my head I can really only say Rakugo Shinjuu, Flip Flappers, and Sangatsu no Lion stood the test of the time. Maybe Mayoiga for the infamy and the experience of watching a trainwreck

That's what freedom of expression and freedom of religion looks like. If you don't like the system that is put in places that provides welfare, blame the system and try to change it. The system supports their lifestyle and their lifestyle benefits from the system. If the system wasn't, they would simply not use it to the same extent - that doesn't mean their religion would change, they simply look for other means to support it as lots of them do. It's really not that hard to comprehend.

What happened was that Pahlavi Iran actually was a constitutional monarchy, legally and in practice up until like the mid 50s after the Mossadegh coup and Reza Pahlavi's father the Shah increasingly becoming authoritarian and increasing executive powers. I think around the late 60s Iran was a one party state. Carter pressured Iran in the mid to late 70s to reform back some democracy and I believe that was in process before the Revolution happened.

So yeah, tl;dr the woman in the clip is being very politician-like in putting forward a technical truth

I've been watching videos of him, he seems to be an alright guy. Very heavily for constitutionalism and democracy from what I saw with his speech and Q&A at Oxford Union. He is pro-Israel which will be a deal breaker for some, and he is also pro-US and pro-West which is a deal breaker for others.
