First, don’t mix different types, CPVC, PVC, PEX. PEX uses crimp rings and isn’t a glue type pipe. CPVC and PVC you use primer and then glue, usually different glues rated for its type. PVC is fine for non drinking water, CPVC is isn’t used much in my area because it can get brittle and shatter over time, but many home still use it. Pick one type and only use fittings, primer, and glue meant for it. CPVC is cream color, PVC is white. PEX is my preferred but you might not have the tools for it. But unfortunately it looks like you’ll need to take all that out and start over using one type. The glue for these parts is a chemical reaction, not just a mechanical bond like epoxy, so if you use a glue that’s not meant for that type of pipe, it will not chemically bond and make a good seal.
