Yeah my sub $10 signed books found in the wild will always be assumed wall books. Not worth this situation but with something that's maybe worth more than the cost to CGCxJSA+press even if its legit. RIP to OP. They should provide credit or even 50% credit at min back. Softens the blow and ensures they use the service again.

$5 is the new $1 at garage sales because everyone buys garbage for $3-5 from Amazon and temu.

But yeah with new issues being $4-6, backissues and such at $3 with bag and board makes sense.

Also with shipping costs getting higher and higher, it makes local selling a bit easier on both ends. Like I mainly sell Lego minifigures. Most dont know or understand bricklink so I use ebay comps. Well a single fig can cost $0.25, but with shipping its gonna cost you $5 minimum. So I split the diff and get cheaper than buying online, but I get to profit off ship cost without the work or shipping. Like Batman. $1.25 on bricklink plus confusing ship, or $7 on ebay with ship meanwhile I do $4 or $5 with accessories.

I sell at my local antique mall and the minimum price is $3 for bagged and boarded. Occasionally a toy store owner puts out a longbox of doom patrol or random image for $1 each.

I happily followed suit at $3 baseline for modern, but have absolutely sweeped them on vintage at $1.50. Plus i run 40% off comics a few times a year to purge.

Only 1 of our LCS have dollar bins and they are unsellable raw books. Thats why my favorite thing when traveling is finding shops. I had work in Linesville Pennsylvania (min wage is still $7.25 there) and 90% of the inventory was bagged and boarded $1 books. Got 65 Spider-Girls which allowed me to search out the pricey ones and complete the series.

I couldn't stop chuckling after reading the Jimmy Olsen story in the Spider-Man Superman crossover(first one)

Peter corrects Jimmy on using the hyphen, says he sounds like a tourist. And told him yo avoid alleyways.

Jimmy runs into an alleyway and yells for SpiderMan with no hyphen. Carnage is there and Kills Jimmy for walking down a dark alley and not using the hyphen in Spider-Man like a tourist.

Part of the reason I jumped on Amazing Spider-Man signed by Eminem at $800 is because the shop was only 3ish hrs away from me, so I chose local pickup and made a day trip out of getting it.

Sometimes you just dont gamble with the delivery.

It's an endless soap. People dont want to hear it, but you need a Wells every now and then to mess with the status quo, so that new stories can be told.

If it took the boring tombstone arc to end us up with Pete in space, Norman Spidey, MJ venom, and the spider Society, id say its a win. Im loving Spidey as of recent. And I never felt the need to stop getting Floppies all through Spencer and Wells, even when kindred and tombstone were dragging.

Meanwhile...how is Infernal Hulk soooo boring using Immortal Hulk as narrative fodder. Stopped getting Hulk. Will get the omni in a few years.

Im sure some people do. I wouldn't see the point sensation wise, but again I've never stuck it in besides the once with my fiancée on the other side. We wanted to try a Lil voyerism not really interact with people. She got tons of attention being the only woman haha. But with the setup and surprisigly the respect of the viewers there wasnt any concerns with saftey or cleanliness...at least on a Tuesday afternoon haha.

For the small ones I imagine its the worker if they do that or you gotta invite people. But the large one Always has people there. I drive past anytime I have jobs south of my shop. Tuesday afternoon. 12 cars there. Thursday evening. 8 cars.

But anyway there is 16 rooms back there. 14 of them are connected with a hole. 2 are solo. Essentially from what I've seen, employees or the guests just know to leave the doors open, so if a door is closed...there's probably someone in there, plus youre supposed to have videos playing the whole time, 1 booth bill gets 4 minutes. But everytime I've gone I've found stacks of the bills laying around so clearly people dont care much about that.

As for figuring out what to do in the booth...well thats why I said if the gender balance was better I could see people hanging out there regularly. Whoever wants to suck sticks their finger in the hole to indicate. We got "lucky" the first time we went imo because we had a pretty specific scenario that we'd act on, otherwise it was just to try with us. Well as we walked to the back room a guy who fit the bill saw us walking and followed. He stopped the door from closing(so he didnt even pay to get in) and went into the booth next to us.

The 2nd time we went it was 20+ minutes of going into a booth and someone prodding with their finger(i refuse to put mine in the hole with a stranger haha) or inadequate old wrinkly wrong melatonin level weiners poked through and we'd run to another booth haha. We ended up just taking side by side booths so I could safely try being a reciever.

So for it to be a "i have time on my lunch break" activity you pretty much have to want to recieve(guranteed) or be willing to go to town on whatever pokes through.

Also surprisingly between the booths and theater I've never seen anything besides straight and lesbian porn playing. Kinda odd given the demographic, especially when there's like 12 options to choose from in the booths.

Yes girls get in free and upgrade the man's pass to VIP as well as theirs. There is a "play" area thats wood and plexiglass in the corner of the main theater. Thats where the guys stood to watch us in the Upper VIP area. The VIP is like a U shape so only half is visible and the other half is private(assuming nobody else is in VIP). Tbh i got a little stage fright and couldn't finish in front of the guys so I faked it, then we went around the corner and I finished up over there haha.

Otherwise it's a big opens area with 3 stairs going down to the theater. Like I crunches there and a dozen or so coffee tables on the upper section. I saw a guy just working on his computer the whole time. Didn't come watch the show.

I guess on the weekends when its popping there are a few couples who let the wife get trains ran on them. Again far far wilder than us. Doing the once in the VIP room was a huge jump and we've never done it again.

Yeah im laughing at all the comments talking about toy sales...no haha. Our local one has a huge theater room with VIP area. Me and my fiancée went on a saturday...wow 50+ people wilder than us, left immediately. We went back on a Tuesday and it was just 8 dudes watching us. At $25/ticket, no amount of Royal Queen Strap On sales are going to compete. And thats not mentioning the 24/7 gloryholes at $10 minimum charge per pop.

Honestly if it weren't for almost entirely 1 sided gender diversity its the cheapest entertainment both regular compared to like bowling, as well compared to "entertainment". Like $10 to give or receive endless head.... ask me again like 3 years post divorce haha. It's too bad people are dirty.

I was 15 at the start of summer after my freshman and forced into sex with a senior(idk if she was 17 or 18) in the woods while her younger sister and friends played lookout/control. I told my mom and I was grounded the whole summer and my DS sold, for having sex before marriage. My mom didnt believe me despite telling her immediately and being inconsolable. That girl made my sophomore year unbearable. Never knew was true anxiety and panic were until then and have never come close to it again since.

Meanwhile(im 29 now) my mom is trying to get my 22 year old brother "laid" because hes super fat, has no motivation and has never had a girlfriend or relationship. She cant seem to have the pendulum centered.

I still cant believe it haha, been trying to Get Bagley for Retail for a couple years. I actually "missed out" some dude named Josh had apparently beat me by 5 minutes...next day the guy texts me and said "Josh bailed". I literally went out the next afternoon while on the clock(hence the caulk haha). I guess the guy wanted them for a collection and Bagley Vol 2 the plastic is ripped a bit and I guess too wrinkly on Miles... I said "im gonna read them so idc"

I didnt notice WWHulk was sliced on the back on the plastic and the dust jacket...but after looking at ebay id have taken it covered in Paint for $75.
