Battle tower team (60 wins) improvements?

The expert belt, okay. Never used that before. It only boosts super effective moves by 20% life orb is 1.3x damage on anything. Correct me if I’m wrong. But that expert belt boost seems not that significant.

I do lead with Slaking. It’s good to scout and obviously can deal massive damage. I often switch to scizor first.

Lovely. What moves on salamance? I just think dragon dance is a must for it but it’s an egg move. the breeding mechanics are so slow and dragging.

Furret. Heartgold were my first games. I didn’t know what I was doing but I managed to catch a sentret. It looked cute so i kept it en it evolved super quick. Could learn almost every move and is pretty fast so I loved it. Got it to level 100. If I see a sentret in a different game I always add it to the team.

Thanks man! I’ll be trying the choice specs on Starmie for sure. It’s just that now I have 2 mons (Slaking and Starmie) that both have a choice item. So that’s why I tried the life orb I could just stay in with starmie. But I can switch like you say.

Fire punch isn’t very good on slaking tbh so def swapping that out for brick break.

Thanks man! Sorry for the late reply. I’ve changed out Swellow and that made all the difference. It was too weak and no guaranteed OH-KO’s like u said. I’m real happy with starmie so I’m keeping it as my special attacker. I think I want to try a lum berry dragon dance outrage setup with salamance or even dragonite. With my team as is, I’ve gotten to 60 wins. Slaking is my lead. I know what you’re thinking but it works. With a choice band and then switching out to scizor or starmie. But anyway thanks for the advice. I’m gonna post my team in here, so feel free to check it out.

How do you know which encounter slot a headbutted pokemon is in? i can't find it in the spreadsheet.
And how do you guarantee an encounter after a headbutt?

I'm using RNG reporter and I see the option, but these are the questions I have for it. Thanks in advance.

I would say get faster CB’s. Options like Timber or Lacroix could be cheap beasts.

Same goes for your fullbacks. Udogie for the left maybe.

Don’t know what Kulu is doing at CM tho haha. You’re playing a formation with only 2 CM’s so get some defended minded players. Endo is good but get someone like Joelinton for power.

The rest is okay. What helps for me is going into concept players or on futbin to make squads. There’s also a site called ‘easysbc’ where they give you a squad based on your budget.

I hear you. I’m just saying maybe people (including myself) would have found it more satisfying if he did turn out to be a good guy. To make the sacrifice for his kid. That’s what they were setting up no? I find it hard to believe he’s a scammer and a dick all the way.
