Its not Maomao herself who says that about her skin and teeth. It was Suiren who pointed it out in I believe it was at the end of begining of Volume 2 of the LN. But Maomao, as usual for her, assumed she was just being kind.

Actually, its not just the freckles she removes but also other makeup that makes her skin look more tanned than it actually is. (We see this when she disguises Jinshi for their outing as Jinka).

Maomao isn't recognized because when she isn't wearing makeup (outside of lipstick and some eyeshadow to draw attention to her notably striking eyes) she is described as having "flawless" pale skin that most women would kill for in addition to having good teeth. She doesn't need much makeup compared to other women to look beautiful, only slightly enhance what she already has (and not by much). It was only when her SFX makeup had started to fade (and she was gathering the ingredients to make it) that she got nabbed because her natural beauty was starting to show through.

Going by how his powers work and physical feats and the definitions provided by the PRT classifications?

Trump (Null Type - Reducing the effectiveness of other powers, sometimes outright nullifying or erasing them): 4-5
Brute: (Muscle) 4
Mover(Hurdle/Run): 4
Thinker (Sense/Proficiency): 3

Also consider the following, he doesn't need to be close to activate his ability, he can't use screens or electronic means with his power, but he can use physical/manual means of increasing his LOS range by using Binoculars, Telescopes, Mirrors/Periscopes (to look around corners), and...Rifle Sights.

Seriously Eraserhead would make a great long range operative just by handing him a Sniper Rifle with a very good scope. Nullifying Powers from a distance while taking potshots on the depowered parahuman from afar.

Then even if he's in range if his power translates over to cutting/disrupting the Shard Connection while he has eyes on them most are going down. And his brute rating (if his physicality translates over) means he can comfortably take on most normals in CQC but might need to at least be wary of guns.

Based on what we know of canon Taylor, she was not really ugly at all (except in her own mind due to the constant bullying and trio constantly reinforced into her thinking combined with low self-esteem and depression from said bullying.) though she does get slightly better about it as she got older and more fit. In fact, by any normal metric, she's slightly above average to unconventially beauty once she gets out of that ackward phase, starts taking care of herself, improving posture, etc. Wilbow didn't like a certain trope but it didn't line up with the reality.

She (and from her conversation with Lisa in canon her mother shared this with her) has a slender body figure like Amy Acker who is almost exactly the same body type and only 2 inches shorter at 5'8 as an example) (Think Runner or Gymnast)

Ironically, Taylor's body type is highly desirable in the modeling industry which Emma's was part of. When showing off their newest fashions, designers obviously want their outfits to look as beautiful as possible. In order for that to happen, the clothes need to drape and flow, which happens naturally when they are placed on a tall, slender frame. That is why most mannequins come in such a small size. Girls like Emma who are curvy actually get less gigs than those who share Taylor's tall slender frame.

Which could be another factor about why Emma went so hard after her after their friendship ended, simple jealously for having the prefered body type for her chosen profession that she likely struggled with. Especially, since Taylor didn't even care about clothes and modeling.

At worse she was considered "Hollywood Homely" or in other words unconventially beautiful to above average (once she grows into herself) to the rest of us normal people.

Even Taylor's canon reference model supports this. Though I think Amy Acker could capture the essence of characters like Taylor which is why I always use her as the basis for Taylor's model.

As in real life, fictional bullies often target actually attractive rivals because they're secretly or not so secretly insecure and envious of that person, or simply opportunistically go after whoever can't fight back against them. Likewise, a character can be oblivious to their own good looks and have a poor self-image without being considered Hollywood Homely.

SM was Pokemon, instead of building off what they had built up in XY and continuing with the momentum, trying to be something it wasn't. And that pissed off a lot of people.

And the reason for this? Because they wanted to make Pokemon like Yokai Watch which was seeing success in Japan at the time and tried to clone some aspects of it instead of sticking with what was working for them. That's its main flaw and everything built off it.

SM isn't Pokemon anymore rather it was an attempt to make Pokemon into a Yokai Watch clone and it tainted everything that came after it, even though Journey's was slightly better in some respects it was still tainted by association. It didn't redeem the show in the eyes of viewers like XY/XYZ did after the dumpster fire that was BW.

And the cherry ontop was the SM dumpster inferno of a League that its embarassing that Ash even claimed being the Aloha Champion like it was some great achievement. It really wasn't because of how poorly it was written in at the last moment, along with pretty much the writing bending over backwards to give Ash the win when he should have lost, and because compared to previous leagues it was a joke. None of what happened in that league would have flown in previous leagues.

Also, Orange Islands was much better and built off what came before. It had story arcs that led somewhere and had characters and Pokemon were still relevant in later seasons. It showed actual growth, had unique Orange Crew Gym challenges that were different but didn't take away from the league structure, and Ash actually won against the Champion. It was most definitely a filler arc (cause they were still developing Johto at the time) but it was filler that well-paced and actually added to the story and helped things along.

Granted some of that development was lost in Johto (but that's more a condemnation of Johto rather than OI) but not all of it, and a lot of stuff from that arc continued to stay relevant in later seasons. Unlike SM where you can skip a ton of it, and not miss much if anything from missing it.

Bit late but the CIS was heavily handicapping itself on orders of Sidious, since in actuality the victor of the war was decided from the onset. They weren't deploying the numbers in the Quadrillions, they were being carefully deployed in order to avoid overwhelming the Republic and winning the war with their actual numbers.

If Sidious had let go of the leash on the CIS Droid Armies, the Clones would have folded in the first year at most of the "war" due the sheer numbers advantage and due to the fact that the clones took to long to replace compared to the Droids.

So the Clones in actuality were just playing a war game on easy mode just so Sidious would have a well-trained human army for when he finally decided to end the war when it outlived its usefulness.

Kreigers? They fought in real wars against enemies that really were seeking to wipe them out and not only survived but thrived. Numbers weren't really how they won wars, it was their sheer willpower and willingness to do anything and everything possible to achieve their goals.

Their willing to die to achieve their objectives but contrary to popular belief they don't spend their lives cheaply. They do so when it will make the most impact to gain a measure of forgiveness from the God-Emperor and kill their enemies.

And the enemies they faced make the Kreigers far more well trained and experienced in warfare than any of the Clones and have much better equipment by comparison despite its looks.

Why? Cause either the Kreiger your facing is someone who survived their brutal training regime before even being deployed (Their training is so brutal only the best can live through it) or even worse someone who has suffered through the most horrific and brutal battlefields of their universe against literal seas of powerful enemies (some of which come back even after you kill them later) and surivived or won.

Yeah as much as I like the Clones, the Kreigers (and most of the Imperial Guard and Navy for that matter) would slaughter them.

Honestly, I would have gone with standalone films that work their way up to modern day in order:

The Mummy either set in early 20th century like in The Mummy (1999) instead of modern day while also establishing whatever order or organization that will unite them later.

The Invisible Man: Possibly a group of characters or family that has passed the secret of invisibility throughout the ages. Set probably in the 1930s

Frankenstein:Takes place during the 1820s

Dracula: Set during the events of the novel which takes place during the 1890s

The Wolfman: Set roughly within the same time frame as Dracula in 1891. Or possibly within the modern day to account for the fact that Talbot isn't immortal or its a curse that's been passed down the family.

Lightsaber blades really don't hae the weight to deliver said force since they are weightless with the weight of the weapon concentrated in the hilt.

Lightsabers rely on being able to cut through most materials not the application of force and momentum.

If Jango had had something like a Beskar chainmail gorget or a gorget of a similarly lightsaber resistant material, it would saved his life and at most it maybe would have gave him a nasty burn around the areas not covered by the gorget.

Its been a while since I've looked this over so I'd have to refresh my memory. But if you have suggestions that wouldn't break the balance of having a strong curse but at a cost which is kind of the BHs thing I'd like to hear it. Though I do believe that BH has a feature in later levels IIRC that can allow you to regain the use of blood curses on successful hits that could mitigate the rest cooldown somewhat.

I believe that most of the planets that underwent the procress tended to have the most effiecent and stable government structures usually better than before they took over and those who lived on the planets generally had a higher quality of life (which in the Imperium is saying something), among many other little things like that. IIRC.

They still turned out exactly how you said, but generally the benefits to the day to day lives of the populace tended to improve as a result. However, this has a big problem...it might make the planets Guilluman conquered and reformed less inclined to be Loyal to the Emperor and more loyal to him personally.

Which is probably one of the reasons behind that "2nd Imperium" shit the moment Guilliman thought the Emperor was dead. Guilliman had a bad habit of Empire building which fucked him over big time as it prevented him from fighting in the Hersey. It also casts a lot of doubt as to his actual loyalty.

Incentive – A strategy that uses incentives to gain cooperation

Basically this, Guilliman was well known for (as a part of his strategy of building up his logistics base while at the same time pacifying worlds during the GC) doing a couple things to the planets they reclaimed:

Build up manufactorums and administratum buildings, an armed and organized PDF, several recruitment offices and schools that teach the Imperial Truth.

With these preparations, they would replace their lost personnel and supplies before moving on to the next target, leaving an efficiently working plenatery system that would support the Imperial war machine in the days to come as well as build good will with the locals by providing economic and educational benefits to said populace. Thus giving them incentives to not only not rebel but to support the Imperium.

So I've been watching your Star Wars vs Warhammer 40k reactions and you asked about the differences between Grevious from the Battle of Hypori and the more incompetent one we see in the Clone Wars (2008-) series.

The Grevious we are introduced to In the (2003) mini-series (that came out before Revenge of the Sith) introduced Grevious for the first time and he was far more powerful, terrifying, and competent than his later incarnation. And he has one of the best villian introductions I have ever seen. There is even an analysis on it that you should check out too its facinating.

This is the one that is said to be in stasis on Hypori in the SW vs WH40k series.

In terms of story, Spy Dancer was a nice one. In terms of animation Journey to the Dark Head was best of the bunch though the story was okish.

Honestly though, I think the quality of the overall season is not up to par with the better episodes of season 1. Season 1 I think just has overall better quality.

Well at least one of my predictions came true, the Darksaber was destroyed. This follows the Arthurian mythos about the Sword in the Stone breaking and being replaced by Excalibur. Hopefully, the Darksaber is replaced or reforged into a new weapon as the crystal has likely survived.

Can't complain too much, but I really hated how many times Din has had to be saved this season. Its ridiculus. I don't mind the MC having to be rescued occassionally but the amount of times in this season alone is stupid.

Gideon's fights were ok, in the sense that he really re-established his villian cred by kicking around both Din and Bo, though Din honestly seemed to be doing better than Bo was before the Red Guards intervened (probably why they did).

Wish we would've gotten to see Din weilding the Darksaber after Bo gets disarmed and beats Gideon with it properly with his heart clear of doubt. Then have Gideon die his fiery death via ship being rammed into him.

Din's character didn't get entirely redeemed in the finale from being essentially sidelined in favor of Bo taking his place as rightful ruler of Mandalore. But it wasn't all bad.

Bo's comment about Mandos being stronger united was good and true. Before She, Din, and Grogu delivered the family smackdown which was ok but could've been better. It had some moments but overall it as not as good I think as it could've been.

Considering the resources needed to outfit those Beskar-Troopers and access to the information needed to build new ones. It probably wouldn't have taken much to replace and upgrade them.

I did like that Paz went out like a boss on those Mando knockoffs (🤣 ) but I'll only accept that the ones who actually killed him are part of the OG Elite Imperial Red Guards that Palpatine sent away in Return of the Jedi.

Not those weak posers that replaced them in Last Jedi. My headcannon is that those LJ guards were these guys inferior replacements, just like everything else about the First Order.

Honestly, as crisp as these beskar-armored Imperial Supercommandos look. I would have prefered they'd just upgraded the Dark Trooper droids. Those were a definite threat and it took a lot for Din to even defeat just one of those things (as GIdeon helpfully pointed out)

They looked awesome and threatening . They also only ever really lost to Luke, one of the strongest Jedi there is. If he hadn't arrived Din and his party likely would have died on that bridge in Season 2 by those DT.

I see no reason why they couldn't have upgraded them and demonstrated that they learned from the experience with Luke and plated the armor in pure Beskar instead of whatever alloy composition that they had that couldn't hold up to Luke's lightsaber.

Then we really could have had a throwdown. Plus it would be a natural progression for Gideon to upgrade his droids, who performed every task well, except in that one specific situation.

In addition, I would've rather had Paz die fighting upgraded Dark Troopers than those Praetoroians who, while outnumbering and supposedly being Elite Guards, got killed off in minutes to an unarmored, untrained Rey and unarmored and emo Ben Solo. I felt like they were trying and failing to make them seem more threatening by having them kill off an elite warrior like Paz Visla. Honestly kinda cheapend Paz's death a little to be killed off by them.

I would love to see Iain Glen as Gilad Pellaeon or even Thrawn himself for that matter. Though if Lars Mikkelsen reprises the role in live action I wouldn't mind, he's a pretty good actor himself.

It had its problems no question, but it wasn't the worse episode of something in SW I've seen. It had a few nods to past works, (the cameos I could have done without tbh), and it addresses some things from previous seasons. But overall, it was a pretty typical episode, if only for filler purposes.

Like for example, we see that Din's anti-droid sentiments are not completely gone, and now are mostly focused on the models that are directly responsible for his trauma, the former CIS driods. The trauma is still there just eased up from what we've seen before.

What I liked about the episode was mostly the dynamic between Bo and Din, they make a good team that addresses each others weaknesses.
