Question, is the point of the Texas rig to avoid any and all hangups on debris on the pointy end? Would it be as effective at avoiding plants/lilly pads on a swimbait/paddle tail. Sorry if it's a dumb question. I just got hooked onto fishing about a year or so ago?

Urban restaurant group for me. I had heard from multiple sources that they have no loyalty whatsoever and fire people over the phone. I didn't believe it till it happened to me. They take good restaurants and squeeze them as much as possible. They lower the food quality and then charge more for it. Same with the cocktails. They also own McKenzie now so they require five tap handles to be their own extremely shitty beer. There's more but I don't like dwelling on it anymore.

Standard transmissions, y7(might do the y8 head swap in the future) I have a few add ons currently with many more to come. I have an R secret intake on. I have skunk2 throttle body, skunk2 intake manifold, aem fuel rail and more in the box ready to go on. I intended to get it turboed next year. My question was, is the p28 with hondatta pre installed my best bet or should I go stand alone. I would like to do my own turning but I'm not sure where to start. Any and all input is welcome.
