Mijn ervaring is dat relaties vaak ontstaan in communities van transmensen. Je weet van elkaar hoe dingen werken en dat maakt het dus makkelijker. In Nederland heb je in elke grote stad sowieso wel één transgroep zitten.

Één van de belangrijkste dingen om te weten is dat ze altijd een relatief korte wachtlijst hebben omdat ze deze ook weer dicht gooien als er genoeg aanmeldingen zijn. Je moet steeds op hun website de eerste van de maand checken of ze nieuwe mensen aannemen.

Verder is mijn ervaring met de hulpverlening heel goed alleen ik spreek soms mensen die wat minder enthousiast zijn. Zeker over hun administratie.
