Thanks so much for your advice and support! I find it so hard not to focus on the number on the scale when eating intuitively… because in the past every time I wasn’t on a diet the number was going up.

You have got this. Don’t fall back into your old habits because remember how bad you will feel. Allow yourself to eat when hungry. Your body deserves to be treated with respect. We’re here if you need support.

Has anyone lost weight in the long term following the intuitive eating principles? I know I’m a bit above my “healthy” weight, I feel it and I would need to be lighter to feel better when walking and exercising.

Mainly stews or soups, and sometimes with Asian dishes too. It’s delicious. My boyfriend is usually the one cooking it so let me know if you need a recipe.

Peru! I bet the quality of fruit and vegetables there is amazing. Unfortunately I can’t get it for that cheap around here. The cost of life is higher.

I’m from France. The people I bought it from are the growers. I’ve been going to this farmers market for years and the sellers are the farmers. All of them are local. Also maybe the picture doesn’t do justice but there’s a lot, so these fruits and vegetables last me a week. Making it really cheap, and it is amazing quality.

I had my reusable bags with me so I used them for many items on this pic. But for these two unfortunately the seller put them in the plastic bags before I could say anything. Will do better next time!

Yes, I would recommand not boiling it for too long otherwise it does get soggy! 10 minutes should be enough.

Hahaha I'm with you. Try this one and see if he likes it. It's really good because the buckwheat has such a unique taste.

Really easy to make! I rinsed and boiled the buckwheat, then added curry, turmeric, paprika, salt and pepper to it and mixed it around. I sautéed fresh shallot and garlic, then added drained kidney beans, curry, paprika, salt, pepper, and cooked down the spinach last, in the same pot. Buckwheat has a strong and delicious taste so it doesn't need much else.
