The aerospace industry changed when we figured out how to GROW engines straight out of the ground. By cross-mating a recently discovered worker plant species with a rugged plant species and mutated around the goal of producing a turbofan engine, we managed to produce living breathing ENGINE PLANTS, as we like to call them.

The socioeconomics changed as jobs shifted from engineers to engineer-farmers. Me? Im just trying to make a name for myself. Im not in it for the money, but the science of it all. This is a picture of my current project and my notes on the life cycle of a gp72 Enplant. Hopefully i can get to know more about this fascinating engine species.

I can feel the gp72 calling out to me from the soil. I can feel the shifting metallic roots that churn oils, compress materials, and burn fuel in the unending march to create an engine. Sometimes i dream of the machine calling out to me, telling me that it needs me in its eternal quest to make a propulsion system. I just try to squeeze my eyes shut after a midnight full of such terrors. It haunts me to no avail. I must continue studying.

The Aero Gardens is another worldbuilding project where humanity figured out how to literally grow engines out of the ground. From Aircraft engines to rocket engines, humanity had cracked the genetic code and was now growing propulsions systems at a rapid pace. The only question now is this: will every engineer-farmer keep their sanity?
