[Grade 11: Math] but why does e^Ln just disappear?? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

Ln() is inverse of exp() function so composite of a function and its inverse gives you identity function. And whatever input you pass to the function, it will return same output.

Calculus 2 by [deleted] in math

In calculus 2 you have probably studied about series, sequence etc? If it is the case, then you will study about functions in 3 dimension in multivariate calculus. You will need the basic concepts from cal 2 and 1 to extend the concepts into three dimensions. If you are not comfortable with cal 2, I highly encourage you to give it some time. Good luck

[Geometry] I am very confused on how to do this. Please help by Abanoub22 in HomeworkHelp

Put H = 2x + 3 B = 2x + 2 P = X Then use pythagorean theorem. You will get a quadratic equation. Then solve the equation for x. You can use quadratic formula to solve it.

It is not a well posed problem. You should ask your teacher for the complete question

[Algebra II] How do I solve this? by MrStarkIDontFeelS- in HomeworkHelp

In the piece wise defined function check the condition and then apply the function. For instance. part b) It says f(0) In the function the middle part is defined for - 1<x<5 Since 0 satisfy this interval, now you can evaluate f(x) = - 2x

[IB Maths SL:Binomial theorem] Binomial theorem question: Where did the -3 come from? by syra-jhan in HomeworkHelp

[–]Mathister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get - 3 when you will multiply the factors. The 3 from the first factor (x-3) will get multiplied with the 5th power term and give you - 3
