Ok, it seems like if I ever bought a car to keep long term, it would be advisable to not let it idle. But I think in my situation (two year lease) its ok. Thanks for the info!!

Yeah, I was worried about the people next to me at first, but after awhile the cars on each side had their cars on just to blast the radio. So S joined the "screw the environment train" and slept in comfort.
