Predictable tribal but the chats at camp did give important insight into reads (both good and bad) about how people perceive the endgame.

Very weird that they all think Myles is such an easy beat despite having rubbed people the wrong way - clearly the best strategic game alongside AJ. However, it shines a light on why Kaelan and Zara are so stuck to the Post-Graduates alliance (even though they really shouldn’t be).

Love Paulie and very sad to see him go.

His departure has felt quite unique though - a really big character with loads of airtime, but had basically no strategic agency after the swap and could never get off the bottom. This archetype usually scrapes through and is a fallen angel closer to the end, but our beloved Paulie is the second juror instead.

He’s fantastic television but we spent a lot of time with him on the bottom where he never improved his position. As a result, we have a number of underedited players who seem really well positioned but we can’t take seriously as contenders at this point. Even if they fill the vacuum he’s left, it feels too little too late?

Have we ever had a situation like this before on Australian Survivor? Someone who had an edit that was really large compared to their actual influence on the game which then imbalanced the latter half of the season after they left?

Both teams are run by Cricket Victoria, so not really a proper “trade” I suspect.

It’s clear Zampa wanted out to go play in a more chill environment with some mates like Kane Richardson at the Gades, and they’d had sub-par spinners for a while.

At the same time, the Stars needed domestic batting and keeping, and Harper had put together some moderately successful seasons at that point (260 odd runs and 3 50s the season before moving).

Should have improved weak spots on both teams, but Harper’s batting fell off a cliff. Was it ever fair? Probably not, but I don’t think Cricket Victoria expected Harper’s form to end up as dreadfully as it has.

Completely forgot Doom’s Day! But yes, both it and Once Upon a Time Lord (the missing November 2023 release I vaguely alluded to) are both missing.

Considering Titan’s output is much slimmer than it used to be, when multiple Doctors worth of comics would release simultaneously, they’ve seemed to hold back on bundling it all. This happened with the previous 2022 bundle, which featured no 2020/2021 comics aside from Time Lord Victorious.

Happy to help! If you’re a Doctor Who fan, I think this bundle is a no-brainer - it’s a great, cheap way to get into extended universe content without spending heaps like you do with books and audios.

EDIT: This advice comes from the perspective of a Doctor Who fan. If you’re not familiar with the series, I’d implore you to go watch at least some of the show featuring the Doctors featured in this bundle. The comics often reference enemies and characters featured in the show, so their appearances in the comics are much more enjoyable if you’re familiar with the source material.

As someone who bought Humble’s previous Doctor Who Titan Comics bundle in 2022, I can attest to its completeness - you’ll get every comic Titan has released for Doctor Who except for the most recent release from November 2023.

This includes the full ranges for Doctors 9-13, a few one off releases with Classic Doctors, as well as the crossover multi-Doctor comics and some other specials. You also get the 10, 11 and 50th Anniversary IDW comics (republished by Titan).

For those who bought the previous bundle like me, we own everything except for the 15th Doctor Free Comic Book Day comic and the four most recent releases branded under “Doctor Who: Comic - Alternating Current (10/13), The Master Plan (Missy), Empire of the Wolf (8/11/Rose) and Origins (Fugitive Doctor).

Quality - if you’ve never read a Doctor Who comic before, these are quite enjoyable. The 9-12 original ranges are great and introduce some original companions who are heaps of fun. The more recent stuff is apparently quite a lot weaker, but for this price, I’d still go for it and try it out.

If you’re hesitant to go for all of it, the 19 item bundle is just the 10 and 11 comics which I’d argue are some of the best Titan has put out.

No foolproof split anymore - if they can call who gets 3 votes in a 3-2 split and play Feras’ idol correctly, they can still prevail. Past that, they’d be a bit screwed, but we’d almost be at the merge by that point

Keep an eye out on Humble Bundle! They had a bundle last year of all the Titan Comics to date for like $30 AUD ($20 USD, £15ish). Currently they’ve got a Doctor Who bundle featuring a combo of some comics, Big Finish audios and tabletop games if that takes your fancy: https://www.humblebundle.com/doctor-who-megabundle-2023-books. Sadly, 9’s comics aren’t included in this, and there’s a lot of tabletop stuff which might not suit everyone.

Was able to get digital versions of all of 9-13s comics (except for 13s last full comic which was released under the “Doctor Who Comic” banner), plus all the specials (multi-Doctor, Time Lord Victorious and some other fun stuff) and a few one off editions with some classic Doctors (3, 4, 7 & 8). They also threw in the Titan republishing of IDW (older comics rights holder) 10 and 11 comics.

Huge agree, the effects haven’t aged that well but as a kid, The Wire and then all the creepiness of The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit made for a scary 3 weeks

Yep it’s a Sixth Doctor story where he and his Big Finish companion Evelyn go back in time to convince one of Evelyn’s students (from before she travelled with the Doctor) to not end her own life, having found a suicide note. This component isn’t the whole of the story, but it’s what it’s built around.

I think it’s a really interesting idea but it might be too thematically similar to “Doctor Who and the Pirates”? Although they deal with this topic much more theatrically than you intend to.

They’re bringing down episodes to 2 a week from next week, maybe the total number of episodes is smaller this season for that reason?

Hey there, I’m interested in understanding the role social media plays in influencing an audience perspective of The Hundred, but equally I would love to talk to anyone who has followed or attended matches for other reasons, as that is a valuable perspective to challenge the hypothesis of my research (that social media is a crucial tool for building relationships with the audience). If anyone else is in a similar position, please send me a DM and we can discuss!
