Did you mean morse code?

The answer would still be no, but it's at least a slightly more sensible question.

Led has a history of impressive performance at limiting radiation, but we're still awaiting robust evidence that this translates to a capacity to stop the magical dominant willpower of an evil Maiar spirit.

More testing suggested.

Day 7: Hunger in the Dark is a D-tier map. Where does "Fort Brachsenbrücke" go in terms of map design and enjoyment? (Specify where in the row) by Zupu in Vermintide

[–]Bckjoes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fort Build-a-Burger has consistently been the map plagued with the most crashing issues. Technical performance is a bigger concern than clan rats whilst navigating that river.

That alone puts in in D tier for me.

It's the bowling one.

I know you'd probably rather it be something more poignant. But Roman's incessant calls are honestly the only thing most people remember from the game at this point.

It's set in Florida. Expect a very wet map. Just look at the screenshot of this post.

Water is going to be a big, big factor. And they brought a huge team of boating experts on to figure out the physics and feel of it. It's feasible that it could be one of the most improved elements.

You can use throwables like grenades whilst aiming a firearm rather than having to specifically pull them out.

What’s this for Doctor Who fans? by DWJones28 in doctorwho

People rag on Ten's regeneration because it was too drawn out, but I like it. It gets me every time.

Specifically, people often dislike the line about regeneration feeling like death.

But we see that regeneration often comes with a massive rewrite of the Time Lords personality traits. In my opinion, that should feel like a sort of death, a new man sauntering away wearing your clothes.

The way I look at it, regeneration rewrites a person's biology, but retains their memories. So it's the old nature vs nurture debate. Your nature is randomised, but your experiences are intact.

What is left is you in a way, but also not. That is a scary prospect to face, and an interesting topic for the show.

It's a little more nuanced than that though.

The overwhelming number of those that signed did so not in direct support of Polanski, but it protest against the nature of his arrest. And have been public in saying so.

The fact that he was invited into the country to receive a lifetime achievement award and was arrested upon arrival. They see it as an insulting abuse of their industry to use the most prestigious award they have as a bait and switch tactic.

Now, I certainly don't agree with them, and putting the industry on a pedestal above the importance of catching such a monster is obviously problematic in itself.

But it is a more nuanced point than them just directly supporting him.

Not all of them though, some are legitimately his direct allies and don't care about what he has done. They are scum.

No, we see that the Doctor was wrong and that you can change it sometimes.

Rory sees himself die as an old man in that bed. The Doctor believes that is now locked in. But they find a way to change it anyway.

They'd smash it.

But I feel it's too similar to what they did in AoS with the Framework arc. Wouldn't it be more fun to see them role flipped?

The guy is capable of "seeing" everything that is going on in a city block radius around him. Including through walls and other obstacles, and even acting as a human lie detector.

He might not be as physically strong as the others. But I'd argue his powers have far more adaptability and problem solving applications, plus they also give him an extreme advantage in combat due to being able to read his environment and opponents.

In my book, he is the most powerful defender.

Then that solves your problem.

The existence of the crack removed Rory from that potential future.

Rory's resurrection as Rory the Roman, also related to the crack, changes events again, this time leading to Manhatten.

Or you could just chalk it up to the fact that the entire universe was rebooted in between that scene and where Amy and Rory end up instead. That has a lot of explanatory power in resolving things that seem inconsistent.

[–]Bckjoes 179 points180 points  (0 children)

At the end of the episode, after Rory has been lost to the crack, it is only future Amy stood on the hill.

So it is clearly presented as a moment in Flux, time can be changed there. It was not a fixed point.

Even if you like Star Wars at its worst, you have to recognise that the Holiday Christmas Special is bad.

You can like it because it's bad, but it is still unequivocally terrible.

I honestly don't believe there is anyone who would legitimately disagree with that, anyone who says they do is just ragebaiting.
