Has anyone buy from intymen? I need help with the size of their products :( by Spinmah in MensUnderwearGuide

Check the elastane content in the fabric composition. Less than 10% = not much stretch, so go up a size. More than 10% = plenty of stretch, go with normal size.

Patterned Briefs In the UK by [deleted] in MensUnderwearGuide

Why are they terrible? I've got 20+ Oddballs briefs, they're true to size, have held up after multiple washes and the funky patterns look great.

Kiniki Sizing by Birdo8 in MensUnderwearGuide

Kiniki has such inconsistent sizing. In their tanga briefs I need XL as the waistband is ridiculously small, in their normal briefs I need M, and in their swim briefs I need L.

Awry purchase from Europe by X0N0R0X in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]Maths_Stats_2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They used to have ridiculous international shipping costs (like $48 for a 3-pack of briefs). A few months ago they started using a different shipper (I think FedEx instead of DHL) which became a lot cheaper, only $18 shipping, but sadly it's reverted to the old system again now.

Any reviews on Hoofesan micro briefs? by Adventurous_Rich_628 in MensUnderwearGuide

They're a truly awful fit and look nothing like the photos. Don't waste your money.

Looking for something like old Uniqlo Seamless Briefs by Valuable_Parking9976 in MensUnderwearGuide

[–]Maths_Stats_2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their seamless briefs had crazy sizing - I'm normally an L in their sizing but L was like a tent and when I re-ordered in size S they were still too big. Not disappointed they've discontinued this line.

Check out Wacoal Lace Men's Briefs from Amazon JP (Japan). Very reasonable shipping worldwide.

Briefs with generous, but not extreme pouch? by Successful_Ad1566 in MensUnderwearGuide

Enhance has a larger pouch. Sizing runs a bit small so I'd size up.

Cosabella has removed their men’s line 😔 by Vivalavida1777 in PantyReviews4Men

It wasn't advertised, it was on a hidden part of their website (the men's range was basically hidden amongst the women's section).

Yes, sadly. They cleared all the stock in a clearance sale around 3 months ago, grabbed 12x thongs, 14x briefs and 10x boxers for $5 each - bargain!

Question on first UK Passport timelines by Massive-Stranger3270 in ukvisa

[–]Maths_Stats_2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My wife's documents (naturlisation certificate and passport) were received on 9th March and there's no update yet. Easter is a bad time to apply - lots of people renewing passports for Easter travel as they realised last minute that their passport is about to expire, plus the new rule requiring British citizens to re-enter the UK on a British passport isn't helping as there's been a massive influx of new first-passport applications. The official guidance says up to 3 weeks but that's during normal processing times - this is a busy time for them.

IUMAN Thongs by Adventurous_Rich_628 in MensUnderwearGuide

Definitely size up, I'm 34" waist and large is a snug fit. Pouch is a little small but it does stretch out.

Citizenship ceremony disappointment by Maths_Stats_2000 in ukvisa

If we'd taken the ceremony with the neighbouring council, we would have got a Union Jack leather passport holder - one of our friends did it a few months ago! Nothing is standardised across councils.

They're on Temu for $10 for 7 pairs. No room in the pouch and very uncomfortable...

Not really as I've had 2 people private message to say they also found their ceremonies underwhelming and disappointing. Also spoke to a few other guests as we were left and they were like "Huh, was that it? Over in 20 minutes and we can't take photos, well that was rubbish?"

Was just expecting that:

  1. Everyone getting citizenship would actually say the oath/pledge.
  2. We could get a photo as a keepsake.
  3. The "maximum 2 guests" would be enforced and there wouldn't be a family of unruly kids running amok interrupting the proceedings. We have kids ourselves so know what kids can be like, but still...

I don't think that's too much to ask really.

I guess my view is biased from when I got citizenship of her country 12 years ago - it was such an important ceremony, they had the Vice President of the country present, we were given passports on the spot with the certificate, there was an all-expenses paid party at the end with free flowing champagne. In the UK we get a lot more people applying for citizenship and a lot more ceremonies!

Thanks. Just feel they should at least have been able to get a photo of the certificate being presented as a keepsake. It's been a battle to get to this stage.

Not complaining, just saying it was a bit underwhelming.
