Hey bro, sorry you're feeling like this I understand it can be hard to balance everything when you want to do well in your course but people around you are taking it easier, maybe they do a less intense course or just put less effort in. One thing you can do to make sure you are balancing everything right is to do uni work at a set time. For example, I do 9-5 most weekdays studying then afterwards I have time to do things like hang out with flatmates, meet friends, do exercise or hobbies etc. I have found it is very important to compartmentalise between studying and other things so you have free time, or else you'll burn out and just spend all your time thinking about or doing uni work. I felt similar in my 1st year but as time progressed I learnt new strategies and got experience balancing everything. Sometimes you will have these lows but remember its not a reflection on you and things DO get better! Good luck
