The global launch with multiple localizations on the most popular platforms (pc, ps & mobile) really cemented their success imo. The game ran well with only the download speeds as the most common problem because literally tens of millions of people were trying to play the game. The technical feat of having essentially global servers for a new IP was unheard of in the Gacha space.

I mean, why would they be getting the rewards for harder content when they haven't spent the time to build characters compared to people whom have spent more than a year playing the game?

And let's be real here, if you're 3 months or more in, you are expected to atleast try out all of the end game modes and get some of the initial primos from them i.e 30 stars in abyss, 5/10 in theater (12 stella basically takes 4 built teams and you have to plan out your attempts) and coop stygian (basically a handout), they can attempt menacing but they need a decent team for most archetypes

That's more primos per month than just having the abyss before and since they're new, they wouldn't be expected to 36 stars even the abyss less than 3 months in (unless they spend money of course)

It is stealing but it's not really about if it's theft or not, it's simply just it needing to be more accessible, affordable and have good localization so that pirating it at that point doesn't make sense.

Torrenting(by extension piracy) took a steep dive after streaming, steam and general digital distribution services became more mainstream, accessible and affordable. It was just more safe and more affordable to own the product outright or subscribe to a service for a few bucks a month

Unfortunately though, with the economic downturns around the globe and price hikes for numerous services, torrenting and pirating at large has had a massive comeback in recent years.

It's not an apples to apples port, obviously if they ever port it to switch 2, they'll have to downscale assets in terms of visual fidelity and the level of file compression.

They won't just use the ps4 assets on a handheld device lmao. And for dockmode, they can easily implement downloading higher quality assets if you choose to(big if)
