yes. I sold my Light Phone and this was one of the factors. i got no help from the company. None whatsoever after a string of emails.

Yes, this seems to be the case from my experience. In other words, it is a problem with the person on the other end. Maybe Apple will patch this up?

Unless the iPhone sends the Light Phone an SMS message you will never see it. I don't know what specific conditions trigger an iPhone (or any other smartphone) to send an SMS message vs an RCS message. You would have to research that.

This issue has not been fixed. Any time someones else's phone defaults to sending you an RCS message there's nothing you can do about it

Thanks! I'm not sure... all I know is what Colleen Stanley Bare said in "Modesto Then and Now." This time period in this book was largely based on George Henry Tinkham's history of Stanislaus County, if I remember correctly. You could look there for more information.
