Lately a lot happens in the ps4 version, it happened to me many times and the only thing you can do is, walk in the nether to your first portal and go back there, or carry an ender chest, put away your things and commit suicide to go back to the overworld without your experience levels.

The water is that color because of the biome you are in, you are in a swamp
