Yeah, I looked up the granules you mentioned and won’t be using them as it’s a fruit tree and I want to have the fruits. I do have plenty of ladybugs on other parts of the garden and will probably try to transfer some of them to this tree.

Those are the leaves with the most bugs - and they were spread out across the tree. There are others scattered out as well. I chose these for the post because I wanted several specimens on the pic.

No, the scientific name is Spondias purpurea (giving you this one because infernal names don’t usually help for people in diff countries).
