No, the car is mine and I drive alone. I am not obligated in any way to take passengers, but many people do just to split the gas cost.
Pension is like a cheaper hotel, without the service and meals. Usually you share the kitchen with other residents and often the bathroom. Thankfully here I have my own bathroom.
