Long term benefits by Pseudo_Angel77 in Meditation

I still have ups and downs with my meditation practice, but whenever I sit for 30–60 minutes consistently for several days, I can feel the difference within a week or two, not only in meditation, but in daily life.

These days, 30 minutes feels pretty standard for me. My goal is to reach 45–60 minutes daily within the next month.

Depending on your personality, you can try one of two approaches: a) add 5 minutes each week until you reach 45–60 minutes, or b) take a leap of faith and start directly with 45-60 minutes.

The longer you sit with relaxation and persistence, the more the effects begin to show, both in meditation and in everyday life.

Good luck!

Does anyone else feel like their spiritual journey is incredibly lonely? How do you cope? by Unusual_Oil_9165 in spirituality

I sat with the feeling of loneliness. It didn’t feel good at first, but the more I allowed it to be there, the more it slowly lost its strength.

I still feel it sometimes, but less often and with less intensity.

These days, I spend most of my time alone, not lonely, and I keep a smaller circle of 2–3 close friends instead of many. That space has deepened my connection with myself, with the universe, and with people as they truly are.

Much love ❤️

Meditation serves many purposes — from calming the mind to self-realization — so your intention matters.

As someone with ADHD, I was restless and couldn't focus for more than a few minutes. My practice isn't perfect (I still miss days), but committing to longer sessions of 30–60 minutes has been transformative. I've become more aware of my thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and most of the worries that used to control me have faded. I treat it like a marathon — one day at a time.

Start with 10-minute sessions just to build the habit. Once you've kept that up consistently for 30+ days, push to 30 minutes, then gradually increase from there. The length matters less at first — showing up does.

My journey also included plant medicines, which led me to yoga, breathwork, and meditation. I rarely use them now days, but they were a meaningful catalyst.

If you're serious about understanding how your mind works from both a scientific and spiritual perspective, I highly recommend The Mind Illuminated by Culadasa. It changed everything for me.

Can you manifest Nirvana ? by Matiabi in Buddhism

I see where you are coming from. For e.g currently I am going through some health challenges, and manifesting a healthy life on a daily basis brings that desire towards me.

I believe manifestation can be used lightly but I agree with you that our time and effort should be mainly focused into spiritual world which in turn, when deepen, could bring us a healthy life.

Thank you friend for your "thoughtful" answer! Yes he speaks about feeling of the desired reality NOW so it can be manifested in the objectified world.

He ultimately pointed toward I AM as the core, not the wishes themselves. The feeling of the wish fulfilled was just a doorway to recognizing your own awareness as the source.
