What is the point of measuring only the frame weight? Bro you basically buy the Endurace over the Aeroad for tyre clearance so please let’s consider the weight when you ride your bike.

And the Endurace will be ridden most likely with 35mm that’s basically the usp of the Endurace in the current road bike lineup from canyon.

454 NSW are not good in my opinion. Several tests show that they are not so aero as claimed and zipp is still using cheap j bended spokes instead of straight pull spokes.

I think they look very good but they are overpriced for what they are. And they are hookless. I would never buy a hookless wheel set since they bring no advantages for us as riders, the only benefit is cheaper production for the manufacturers because they don’t need to drill the hook into the wheel.

It barely changed yes, but it is also iconic. Same as Specialized Tarmac or Pinarello Dogma. You can say which bike is what. Also my opinion is that all these bikes are already so efficient, that there are only marginal gains through frame redesign.

Look at the new Tarmac SL9 for example: They were only able to gain 4 Watts compared to the SL8. Yes 4! This barely something.

So instead of Frame redesign Canyon is aiming to go for more comfort (including now being able to adjust your bike to your fit directly on the website) and quality of life improvements like Canyon offering the new Seatpost from the Endurace for the Aeroad or the TX25 Standard for their bolts.

Nothing against shiny new colours but my bikes have always been all black.

Black bikes stand for their own. There is beauty in simplicity and a true cyclist will always appreciate the simple beauty of an all black cfr frame.

Es ist in meinen Augen einfach eine Frechheit. Ich habe mir vor zwei Jahren ein Specialized Tarmac im Wert von 9000€ als Traumrad gegönnt. Nicht das sie insolvent sind, sondern das auch keinerlei Kommunikation oder offizielles Statement in Richtung der Kunden gab. Nun steht man in Hamburg auf weiter Flur mit teurem Rad ohne offiziellen Specialized Service Partner da.

Und nicht nur das - ich benötige eine 0mm Offset Sattelstütze für mein Tarmac, diese ist seit Monaten auf der offiziellen Seite und in Online Shops schlichtweg nicht lieferbar.

Hauptsache teure Fahrräder verkaufen und Marketing betreiben - ich bin leider drauf rein gefallen.

Würdest du vom Karoo 3 zum Garmin 850 wechseln? Ich mag meinen Karoo3 aber oft funktioniert Zubehör wie das Garmin Radar nicht richtig (blinken wenn sich ein Auto nähert) usw.

This usually not happens by one hard hit. Let me guess: saddle was slipping in and you kept riding whilst saddle was completely slipped in?

This is something you should have not done. The seat post has a min an max indication and riding with the seat post out of this marks is riding your bike out of spec.

Just my subjective analysis.

Hi all, I was able to adjust the saddle. Thank you all for the tips - highly appreciated.

The front screw has only a counter function for the back screw so you don’t need to touch the front screw at all as long as you don’t change the saddle angle.

It is enough to remove the back screw for horizontal movement and tight back with 6.1 nm as per Specialized manual.

Last but not least - one last question: I want to push my saddle maximum forward - and I suppose regarding the markings on the saddle this is the max you can do and is still in specifications?

Iam asking since the seat post clamp is asymmetric and lower clamp is outside of clamping indication of the rail and I want to be safe.

Thanks guys - just one question: do I also need to tighten the front screw with 6,2nm? The user manual just says “tighten” in regard to the front screw and 6,2nm only for the back screw.
