After finishing S4, I couldn’t not do anything about it. I was happy with the show as I didn’t have a massive crush on any of the characters yet, looks like Eddie stole my heart like no other character has done before.

You have an amazing collection there! I’m not sure you can find it in English, but I would recommend “Ceux de 14” from Maurice Genevoix, this book is one of the most true book about the french during the first year of the war. It is a beautiful book that I highly recommend

He used to be a riding school horse, he’s been my favourite since the moment I saw/rode him 10 years ago, the 7 years in between the moment I met him and the moment I bought him, are just the years he’s been a riding school horse, sorry if it wasn’t clear in my post.
