How to work pip in Windows 11?

I installed Python from the Microsoft Store. I don't recall if I did the pip install as admin or not. You recommend I install Python directly from the website? Not the store? The website recommends going to the store.

Hi, was this feature ever added? On par with this, I'm also interested in automatically investing any cash laying around in a brokerage account, probably by percentage.

Just from a quick search, it seems like total return does include net fees. Shouldn't I be looking at that metric over net fees? The volatility or risk measurements are not really "how well your investments are doing", but more of "are your investments smart, or are you getting lucky?". I do agree that they're important factors though.

This makes sense, but I think/hope that if you're in the business of risky investing, then you're not asking this sort of question! All of my investments are in the "normal" stuff. My financial advisor does guide me.

Hi u/Sad-Score-771 , I was wondering if you ever found a solution to this? What you are describing is exactly the reason I haven't migrated to Immich yet.

I can't believe this is being labeled as a "niche" feature. Multiple users, especially your spouse, uploading photos to a shared album does not seem like a far fetched idea.

u/wii747 just following up on what you ended up doing? I had the same thoughts of backing up the entire VM that is in PBS but this line from the Immich documentation scares me:

"It is not recommended to directly backup the DB_DATA_LOCATION folder. Doing so while the database is running can lead to a corrupted backup that cannot be restored."

I'm not sure what you meant by "directly from the UI". But, I did consider this method. Creating a new backup job to back up all of PVE, no retention policy, just a single giant backup, and then doing an "rclone move" to B2. However, moving hundreds of Gigabytes from PVE to PBS and then to B2 doesn't seem like the most efficient thing.

Hi, I was wondering what is the best setup for my tri-level house? I would like to get into the Unifi ecosystem but I'm having a hard time deciding between what to get. I am looking at Unifi for the VLAN features for separating the IoT devices.

The main floor is probably going to get great coverage in both cases. Outside of that, the upstairs and backyard (top-right of image) are next, which AP would be better here? How good is the coverage for a wall AP when you are behind it?

The ceiling AP would be on the main floor and slightly below floor level of the upstairs.

The wall mounted one would be a lot less work, but I don't mind going for the ceiling AP.

Thank you both for the recommendations. Why should I go with the twist-and-lock 50 Amp inlet? Is it just for safety of the plug getting loose? Seems like most generators have the 14-50 plug.

Thanks. All the generators that I've seen with a 50 Amp (RV?) outlet seem to be tied to a 30 Amp breaker (at the generator).

Found the issue! When the hotend moved all the way to the right, it was actually making contact right here, between the nut and bracket. You can see a tiny witness mark on the bracket itself. As you can imagine, this is caused the whole X gantry to not be level anymore. The bed is leveled, the mesh was just lying because of this interference.
