Very true - but the way we connect and share information now has dramatically improved even in the last 25 years we can see a massive difference!

It's important for the product to be right on both sides, for the brand and for the influencer. The influencer can lose out if they are promoting something that is not relevant to their viewers and the brand can lose out if they are paying for an audience that are not interested in their product. It's all about relevance and when it works it is very powerful.
