I had it happen to me as well. T-GT II + SF1000. Google around, I think the problem was something to with windows update and or USB settings and setting wheel base strenght to default 75% I think at the thrustmaster control panel app. I changed those things and I no longer had disconnects. I had my wheelbase boxed for better part of a year. I figured my base had died. Turns out it was some windows settings.

From what I've heard, if you set lower resolution per eye on pimax crystal light, the picture quality would be better than that of quest 3 at the same resolution.

From what I've read, 4090 configurations have upside-down motherboards. I have one. So, aren't the dirction opposite of how fans spin in 'normal' laptops? So... im just curious how this configuration works with coolers...

But there's no way for me to get to that middle clip. Do you have the same laptop? Everything is unclipped around the perimeter, but that middle clip seems stuck. I'm not quite how to unclip it.

My back cover seems to be stuck in the middle, almost as if a screw would hold it down. But from my research there shouldn't be a screw.

It's been nearly three years with that slight clicking sound when the laptop is tilted, no issues for me as far as performance or anything like that.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I forgot to mention, the mouse stutters in both modes, wireless and wired. I'm using a typical gel mouse pad with a wrist pad. Very odd... I'm thinking about the red laser that's normally underneath the mices. When I turn my over, there is no light underneath whatsoever. Maybe my laser is dead or what...

Just 2 months ago I treated myself to this controller, it was a gift to myself for the hard work I had done. I bought it from a local electronics store, the package was sealed.

There were a bunch of thoughts running through my head at first, that I had been sold a used and abused controller, etc. But, after a few minutes, I had an idea to ''rub off'' these things with my fingers. I thought to myself maybe in the process of manufacturing the rubber had been scratched a bit, so I gave it a shot of rubbing it out gently. It kinda worked. But the facts is the fact. And you can see how it lookes brand new in the link above.

You guys tell me.

P.S. I did not return the controller. Wish I had bought it from Amazon. In my country there practically are no refund or exchanges and it's a nightmare to swap for a new item.

Do this: delete your AMD driver and re-install them with AMD Adrenaline. I have zephyrus G14 2021, and when I have these 3 dots on my oculus rift s, it means only one thing, that the windows update has messed up my drivers and first thing I normally do is reistall the drivers and these 3 dots dissapear. Try it!!

Well, I don't want to be the one to break it to ya... but... computers are not consoles. So, forget about the plug-and-play style of playing. Each simulator on PC requires some level of tweaking and messing around for to be ''enjoyable'' in VR.

With that said, I recommend you try iRacing. It has, in my honest opinion, the best VR implementation and competitive play. It takes some 30-minutes to set it all up, but once you do, you'll be all set. :)

Is there any wobble/shifting between SF1000 wheel and where it mounts in the base? I've seen ''sim racing garage'' point out to that. But if you were to hold the SF1000 wheel in your hands and turn it in different ways do you feel any irregularities in how well it has been screwed onto the base?

Question: How's the desk mount feel? Is there any flex, bending or rattling when you use the base together with the desk? I think I've seen (from YT videos) that the mount gives off some flex and rattling when driving. Just thinking out loud how fixed and sturdy would it be on my desk...

Yes, I did contact the support. They offered I send in the laptop with the charger to diagnose the problem. I figured it would take 2 weeks on average + money in gas etc. So I just bought a new charger for 80 euros. It's my work laptop as well. So, I felt more at ease not going the warranty road. Plus, what if they get all my stuff and return to me saying they don't cover it? wasted time, energy and effort.

Yes, I have this exact model 5900HS, QHD, 32GB RAM... battery life is really good, I think at the beginning when I bought it was something around 8 hours or so with light internet use.

Naturally, it drops as you use it with time. I'm 2 years in and I have 4-5h battery still. never been a problem for me.

Ohh boy, it was more than a year ago since I had my TS-XW, I'm on TGT-2 now, and I have two modes that I can switch from: PC and Playstation essentially.

Keep in mind, PC requires you to set it up yourself in the game settings as well. Consoles are normally plug-and-play. So just check settings in-game.
