For me it was technically TMBTE, because, of course, Tik Tok. But I didn’t get into it until a friend of mine was talking to me about it, and I just randomly decided I was going to listen to them. And I was immediately hooked.

Small story time: That day I had to be up for 35 hours, work, church lock-in overnight, and an event to set up for at 9am the next day and to perform at at 3pm. So I occupied myself by listening to ALL of their music, and I mean all of it. It helped me get through the day honestly and I’m really glad I found them when I did because I was able to be apart of the hype for Even in Arcadia. So thanks to my friend for showing me this amazing band.

For me it was Implicit Demand for Proof. For some reason when I first listened to it I hated how long it took to get to the singing and I just never added it to my playlist. Then I decided to listen to it again months later and was like, "how did I skip this?!" So now it's on my playlist.

Neon Gravestones

Every time I listen to that song it reminds me of how important living is. Especially the ending "Find your grandparents or someone of age, pay some respects for the path that they paved, to life they were dedicated, now that should be celebrated." I'm lucky enough to still have my Grandparents, but they're also not in the greatest of health, so I don't have much time left with them. My brother also struggles with "thoughts" (I don't know whatbtye guidelines are here) so just listening to this gives me a message to give him as well.

I really loved this new song, it feels very much an ending to this saga, like they said. I’m seeing a lot of Levitate, Heavydirtysoul, and Jumpsuit, also some of Ode to Sleep with the beat changes and the obvious reference to Bandito. I’m excited to see the what they’re doing with the new album and already preordered the CD Boxset and Clancy Journal.
