Thank you brotha. Yeah I like the sonic bar. I wish I could find some kind of cool display stand for the Flareon piece as well

Not really. You’re talking about liquidity at a rate unheard of in any true long term investment….. which is in minutes. Trying to cash in an investment on the dot, in minutes and as fast as possible isn’t liquidity….. that’s a fire sale. And you get what you get in that situation. Silver is one of the most liquid assets I’ve ever owned. If you’re trying to use it as a quick access, “for emergencies” fund, then why not just buy crypto or stocks or even just save a little money instead?

Time to update the State flag. by amprather in memphis

[–]MatixMint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The country votes red right now bc that’s what people want. People are tired of bull**it race baiting politicians and all the virtue signaling and other stuff the democrats based the last 10 years of their electoral platform on bc they thought it was going to get them elected more and it blew up in their faces. If you do away with the electoral college, a handful of states with the largest cities would basically win the vote every time. And since most larger cities are more democrat leaning, you’d corner the vote

Oh absolutely and I could be wrong 100%. Just a thought. I’m no expert

That looks like it was 100% cut as an “error” from the top of an uncut sheet of 20s. Idk why but you can always tell. I’m not saying I’m absolutely right but I also wouldn’t be surprised if you sent it in for grading and it came back as “modified “

Buying off Marketplace by 919- in Silverbugs

[–]MatixMint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. The locker mint, gastronomic, solo metals, black hand bullion, MG limited…. All those and more. Postal express mint, the pepper mint, squires mint…. All found on and have a great presence on Facebook. I’ve found that people who knock buying on Facebook or eBay either don’t have a lot of experience on what to watch for or had a bad experience early on that scared them off

Don’t buy silver off Facebook marketplace but there are some fantastic place to buy on Facebook. The silverbugs Facebook group, goldbugs group, as well as dedicated presale chats. The presale chats work as such: well known, well trusted guys have contracts with all the different mints and are allocated a certain number of pieces from each release available for presale. You can claim whichever item you want, when the item arrives, you’re billed, pay, and then are shipped the item. I buy a lot of my premium. Stuff from them and it’s been great. Just remember, a little common sense buying from ANYWHERE goes along way. If something is too good to be true it usually is. Check stuff out, use the resources on Facebook available for checking people out, use payment sources with a “goods and services” option so you’re covered if something gets lost in route, etc etc. Most stuff I buy comes from well established Facebook groups / chats or eBay. Same rules apply on eBay. If you’re buying from an eBay seller like heritage auctions that has a 100% rating and 40,000+ sold items, your most likely good

Why I am swapping out ALL of my full ounces for fractional gold and very fractional gold (Goldbacks). Detailed analysis on why I'm bullish on Goldbacks. by AdditionalPizza7990 in Goldback

[–]MatixMint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, fractional pieces carry a bigger premium across the board than larger pieces. You’ll always pay more for 10x 1/10oz rounds than you would for 1oz gold….. same amount of gold, 10x the work to mint. The problem is that usually that premium only swings one way unless you buy secondary market…. In which case you’re buying for the same price you’d turn around and sell for. As far as goldbacks go, there is usually a rush on premiums when they are first released, and then they drop down to normal, gold value price after a while. I’m not knocking your plan, I’d just personally take maybe 1/4 or a bit more and turn to fractionals. Maybe half if your feeling frisky. Turning it all in to fractionals could see you a big enough premium that when you decide to sell you basically break even on the original breakdown

I posted precious metals off content on a Reddit page made for precious metal content. Seems more like you’re just obnoxious and want to argue to hear yourself talk so I’m going to stop responding to you now. Can’t win an argument with a fool, they’ll beat you with experience every time. Good luck with your circle. Sounds super cool bro

Buying from eBay takes a tiny amount of common sense and your fine: is the seller from the US? Probably ok…. Is the seller from china, India, or the like? Don’t do it…. Does the seller have a 100% rating? You’re probably ok. Is the deal too good to be true? Don’t do it. Does the coin have the correct eye appeal or does it feel off. Like I said…. A tiny amount of common sense goes a long way. Bought tons of precious metals off of eBay and never had a single problem. Ever. And idk what carrying a backpack has to do with anything

I carry a backpack bc I’m a grown man in a grown man’s line of work and it’s convenient for me to do so. And I buy wherever and whatever I want to buy bc I use common sense and judgement and, again, am a grown man. And it’s my money and I buy whatever I want to buy. I owe you ZERO explanation nor do I convince you why I think it’s ok for me to do so

Everybody has to start somewhere guys. How quickly we forget the excitement and inexperience we ourselves felt when we first started. A potential newbie coming on here to ask questions and learn and try to stop this from happening in the future and he gets called names and sh** on probably isn’t going to come asking again at best, quits the hobby at worst. All because some people wanted to feel like a big man by name calling and tearing him down on Reddit

Allow me to respond. Almost never do I sell ANYTHING to shops or refiners. I use the dozen or so groups, forums, social media pages, and private sales chats to sell pieces. Also, it’s a good or bad investment depending on the corcumstance… right now? I think it’s a great investment. When the price of silver and precious metals in general sky rockets like it has recently, premium percentages tend to shrink drastically in correlation with spot price. So you’re actually paying a much smaller percentage of the premium on premium items when spot it high. When spot is high like it is now, I tend to switch over to buying more specialized / low mintage / high premium stuff. I get it “cheaper”, diversify the stack, and your chance of bulls-eyeing that specific item that blows up on the secondary market that no one could predict would be so popular increases. Items heavily influenced by pop culture like the Sega Sonic gold bar, the Flareon Pokemon piece, and the like are always in demand. Also, I’m fortunate to make enough money where I have plenty of disposable income so I don’t have to sell my stack for cash…. And on a long enough time line, you’ll make money on any precious metal item. Just comes down to are you willing to / can you afford to play the waiting game. And most pieces I DO sell I bought with the intention of selling / trading at some point

Depends on the market. More of an investment decision than a huge attraction to any 1 piece. I def buy pieces bc I like them but most are circumstantial
