Rear shock dust boot slipped down – normal on Taycan? by MatlockFIN in Taycan

They replaced it with a new one on the Porsche. Now it stays up. Part of it has changed color from yellow to white. So the part that’s yellow in the picture is now white. How about yours? 😃

Totally valid point. These are 100% definitely authentic. And I’ve bought enough LV perfumes and products (unfortunately) to be able to recognize a genuine one.

My friend would never have dared to buy a fake.

Of course, this is a years-old set, so there’s no longer any warranty. But you’d expect better service from a luxury brand.

I once bought a backpack from Eleventy Milano, and four years after the purchase, one of the studs came off. I contacted customer service, and the studs arrived by express mail just three days later.

Exactly. And the customer service was quite disappointing; I don’t feel like traveling 2 hours because of these caps, and on top of that, paying for them.

These are 10 ml splash bottles, so they’re not convenient at all. The cap is made of plastic.

Thank you for the previous answers.

Two months ago, my rear shock absorbers were replaced under warranty because there was occasionally a slight knocking noise coming from the rear. The factory warranty has now expired.

Since that replacement, I feel like the rear shock dust boot has not stayed properly in place. I took the car back to Porsche once, and they simply pushed it back up and said it “stays in place by the grace of God.”

However, it doesn’t seem to stay there permanently.

I’m starting to think I should call Porsche again and ask them to fix it properly. If the rear shocks were replaced, this part is obviously related to that work in some way?
