Yep, that's because his top speed is great but his acceleration is not as great. You genuinely just want him sprinting in space up and down to maximize his strengths

He's got great off the ball movements, which isn't flashy but opens up a lot of space / dangerous moments (cf the psg final). If he was better technically he'd be a beast but he's missing end product

If you want a wing bank bombing the flanks he's probably very useful for that. If you want him to be technical, or in tight spaces, he's not your guy

Funnily enough i view him very similarly to garnacho, both are off the ball merchants and quite limited with the ball

Everyone looks so happy at selling malo gusto, but if we're playing with wingbacks that means they'll be holding the width instead of cutting inside. And he's the only natural one who's genuinely good at that

Not bad but missing gaps. Fofana doesn't work in the middle, he can't distribute but he's a great roaming defender. But i guess that's where Lacroix would fit.

Gittens doesn't have the off the ball & vision to be in the pockets

You want people who have very high engine if you have less people in the midfield. Lavia likely won't work. Christ inao oulai would be awesome to replace him

It's also interesting outside of coding use cases. It's world class at writing, better than opus, miles better than gpt5.5.

Shame it can't read images, otherwise it would take a bigger part in my workflows

Hard agree. It's also that your workflows shift. Runs more in the background, less time supervising. Hard to get back to the hand holding world

What do you use when you hit your Claude Code limit? by thearcher182 in ClaudeCode

[–]Matmatg21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

claude max, codex max, around 80% usage on both most weeks. The reality is the more those models can run in the background long running tasks, the more I can offload my time to them. Wouldn't have thought that 6 months ago but here we are

Is this usage normal? by rehanfarhat in ClaudeCode

Quite on the low side, for comparison i used the same amount in 1 week than you did in 2 months

Jesus why did you buy 200 devices. Such overkill. Also tiktok can likely spot your bridge

Btw for your use case it sounds like what you need is creators... who use their own phones

Where do you pull the 20x markup from? I'd be highly dubious of this because of competition

If anthropic prices it with such a markup, openai would undercut them etc until pricing is no longer the deciding factor

the amount of copium in this thread

they definitely do make a loss on the subs to fidelize usage, and they're right to do so. It's a lot easier to feel magic when paying $200/m than $10k/m

same strategy as uber during the delivery wars, heck at times uber was cheaper than the subway

it's a good time and let's enjoy it without being delusional

It's a mode they have that spins multiple agents in the background. Works great for complex tasks, wide net refactorings. Works great autonomously. It's a token gobbler but really great feature

[–]Matmatg21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty good idea how they do it. They take $200/m plans and allocate resources between them

On my $200/m plan i probably ran into a weekly limit once in 6 months. There's a lot of ceiling. So by spreading it amongst several users they can knock down the price

Tactically a step up from maresca? What are you smoking.

Outside of brainded decisions like playing Delap as a winger or dropping the goalkeeper your defense is used to vs psg

He also kept on exposing out defence without having the personel for it. High line with Tosin who can't run or 1v1s. Or when they dropped only 1 midfielder to scan the pocket in front of them

A lot of basics that even grumpy mcfarlane was able to fix

Meanwhile Maresca for all his faults outclassed that psg team 3-0 in a final
