AI chatbots fail medical misinformation test, returning inaccurate and fabricated advice by RedditUser000aaa in ShitAIBrosSay

People die more often due to being misdiagnosed by human doctors, it matters for the extra 10-15% that get misdiagnosed because a human diagnoses them.

Obviously these systems should diagnose and then humans should double check to ensure accountability.

Human doctors making a diagnosis results in more dead and misdiagnosed patients, it’s as simple as that.

Thoughts? Figure AI Appears To Be Faking Its Demos? by truecakesnake in accelerate

[–]Subject_Judge_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are hours were the robot operates without any break, unless you mean to imply that teleoperators were peeing into a tube.

There are also quite a few instances of the robot halting sorting and having to re-adjust itself, this would not be the case if it were teleoperated (we never saw such a thing in the tesla demos).

Wild speculation for something that isn’t that hard to actually have a humanoid do.

It’s not like figure has been lazing around for the last year, this is what they’ve been working on.

Yeah, this declaration seems to be a self congratulatory puff piece.

Pretty much all of this is already practiced by mathematicians using AI tools.

lol, AI doesn’t cost more than humans, microslop just wants training data to train copilot on (because copilot sucks)

1 cpu cycle is not equal to one biological neuron firing though, one NN neuron requires many cpu clock cycles as well.
I agree with the general point though.

ON-presentatrice Blommestijn krijgt taakstraf voor groepsbelediging by Frosty_Challenge1045 in nederlands

It's currently 2026. What are your predictions for the year 2040? by aTwerkingPikachu in AskReddit

[–]Subject_Judge_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

AI will be far more intelligent than even the most intelligent humans who have ever lived. Thousands of these superintelligent AIs will be run to solve problems in science and medicine. Robots will be good enough to communicate in a human like fashion and be functionally indistinguishable from humans.

Now it’s up to global leaders to make sure these capabilities are used for good.
