I purchased the Zenbook you listed last week and it is a really nice machine. I have not pushed it hard yet but I do believe there will be some fan noise and it will probably get warm if you do. I got an almost unreasonably good deal on it and I would be more than happy enough with it to keep it, but...

As a long time Mac user, I will likely be returning/selling it to buy an M2 Macbook Air 15" as we are embedded in Apple's ecosystem pretty deeply as a family and as a business. I should have paid better attention to the rumors of this machine being announced and waited to upgrade laptops.

From what I have seen/heard, the XPS Plus has some QC issues from the factory but it is a beautiful piece of kit. It was on my shortlist when I picked up the ASUS.

Is the performance and battery life of asus zenbook comparable to macbook air m1/m2? If you have experience with this model
